Neither in a OEM headlight reflector bowl.
If you want one of those options you'll want to look into a retrofit or aftermarket lights.

I'm running Mirimoto 2Stroke LEDs. As LEDs go, these are the best I've found. Not too bad on the glare and scatter, and decent throw. That said, no LED or HID in the stock reflector holds a candle (no pun intended) to a projector retrofit.

Look into an HID projector retro. You could get good results with an LED kit in an HID projector probably. I wouldn't do either in a halogen housing.

I'm running a set of cob LED bulbs in my headlights and fog lights in the stock light housings. They are extremely bright and give out great light output. I can find out what brand if you want?

No. I have my headlights turned all the way down. Now that my truck is lifted I do have my fog lights turned off since they have not been re adjusted for the increase in height.

    See fine print
If you want HiD's, don't do it on the oem reflectors. Get retrofits.

You can get away with some good LED's though with oem housing. I'm running the philips LED with decent output. I don't blind oncoming traffic.

H11 HIDs in stock housing. Might be a bit too bright to oncoming traffic so thinking of switching to LEDs. Need strong white light for my desert adventures.
