Thank you for the compliment. I never thought of selling when I built this truck but sometimes life happens.

GLWS OP. That's a sweet looking truck with a great setup. I think it i probably a fair price for this specific truck; however, no bank would ever loan that much money for that truck. The bank will only lend the fair market value of a 2014 Toyota Tundra DC 4X4 with 26xxx miles. So, the target audience is limited to those who have the means to drop a substantial amount of cash out of pocket, to at least cover the difference between loan value and sale price.

I don't think anyone was talking shit here so let's try our best to keep the emotions under control. I can see the points of both sides of the discussion here and they actually have valid points. The OP asked for opinions so it's only fair for someone to comment back their "Opinion". I also do not see you getting $46 grand, but once again that's my opinion. We've all heard it for years that you don't get back what you put in to it. We also know this isn't exactly true. I'm thinking upper 30s, lower 40s is where this truck would sell like it sits. It is a good looking truck, but it was built for a specific taste, which would limit buyers. I'm looking at a truck with alot of chrome that most would want gone (Not all, I am aware). GLWS either way.

Which is fine. Car gurus is not listing THIS truck or ANY truck similar. He's not selling a stock truck. It's a truck for a specific buyer with specific needs/wants. You don't seem to need/want these things, so this is not for you.

You can believe said algorithm. I'm doing better than what that algorithm says I should be. Why would I sell my stuff for less just because an algorithm says I should? The algorithm says 98 TT Supras for 50k... If i could find them for 50k, I'd be flipping those and retiring. It's hilarious because the "Browse Listings" section below it has the cheapest one at 67k.

You're not here for an arguement? Does that mean we not allowed to criticize your criticism of OP's post? It's curious that you've been here a while, but your first post is that one.

But... Whatever, you do you and I'm gonna do me. We're both immovable objects on this one.

Thank you. You are 100% correct with your statement. I would strongly discourage anyone from encumbering themselves with that amount of levered debt to begin with.

Thank you for the good luck wish. You've hit the nail on the head with the "built for a specific taste" comment.

Thank you for the compliment. I don't want to part it out and put it back to stock to sell but that possibility does exist.

Bro, post this up on RaceDezert and racing junk. People more in-tune to this kind of thing will be looking there.

Thank you for the compliment. I've received a fair amount of interest but securing financing has been the issue.

I'm falling for the truck all over again when I look at it in the shop.....

I can understand you falling for it all over again. You have a lot of accessories on your truck that I want to do to a Tundra. Unfortunately, you're about 2700 miles away from me. Just out of curiosity, why are you selling it? Was the supercharger addition worth the money in your opinion?

My need for a truck has changed and the low miles I put on it a year reflect that.

The SC is totally worth it especially if you tow. Is it the most important modification? - no the suspension upgrade is.

Honestly man, if it's not a financial reason behind getting rid of it, I would just keep it, register it as a pleasure vehicle and go out and use it as a weekend toy. You put all this stuff on it and never really used it? Go enjoy it. F'roadin is cheap and a great way to go see the sights and familiarize yourself with recreation areas. You will make some memories, trust me.

Your advice is well taken- thank you.

Funny thing is I started to modify the truck for camping/exploring and then I thought I'd haul the hot rod around the country attending events. We have now switched to motorcycles for exploring/camping and I've decided it's a lot more fun to drive your stuff then trailer it.

I went to a wedding at Bass Lake last weekend and THAT'S where this truck thrives. It's completely the right vehicle in the foothills and makes me want to drive further.

    Nice.

Enduro riding and 4x4-ing are 2 different beasts and each has its own place and time, as you've noticed. Driving the truck is a lot more relaxed. It's easier to do spur of the moment, and something that won't make you feel super beat up at the end of a long trail day. Sick thing is, you can load the bikes in the back, set up base camp somewhere remote and ride out from there. It takes some preparation, but you can go further without worrying about fatigue and bike weight.

Our riding is 90/10 with a good amount of motel usage. I have a Super Tenere and the girl has a V-Strom so fire roads are the limit with us.

I was thinking I'd use the Tundra as a base camp and plan day rides on mountain bikes. Maybe a GFC or the like?
