Hi everyone, the dome light switch on the dash of my new to me 07 Limited is sunken in. Is this a moderately easy fix? Obviously it’s not the end of the world if I leave it like this, but I’m one that likes everything be in working order.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

Personally I'm right there with ya that would drive me nuts. But what I would do is you tube a video on how to remove dash trim first then see if you are up to tackling it by yourself then I would get a hole new switch on order. Because more then likely a clip has broken on it. Then take it apart and replace it. I have had my 08 trucks dash all apart a few times not to hard but be careful not to break clips.

Mine has the same problem. No new switch needed.
It wasn’t an issue with the switch. It was the retention clips on the dash piece that broke. I super glued it back together on the back side of the dash then used a zip tie to further help keep it together.

pretty easy fix. just remove dash trimming so you access from the rear and see if any broken tabs.

You'll find a plastic nut behind the park brake pedal, remove that. Look up and youll fine a 10mm bolt. Remove that also. The kicker panel will pop off and you should be able to see that switch above

That’s a great idea, and should be much easier. Thanks!
