Yes, if we pull your name and your are not there, we'll call someone else until we have a winner.

When we call a name, the crowd will start to yell "burn it" if the person doesn't show up.

I'm asking all trail leaders to bring their group back by 4:00 pm so we can take a group pic, have dinner and give away prizes.

Pull a name, wait a little bit, if no one comes forward we'll pull another.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Maybe you can coax people to put your name on their raffle tickets :fistbump: :spy:

If I could rig stuff I would, but my method of "rigging" would be to have free shit for everyone!

Also, could bring enough beer/whiskey/tequila to "encourage" whom ever wins to give it to you :boink::wink:

Yes we take the group picture and start dinner and raffles.

We are trying to hook everybody we can up. We are not charging for raffle tickets. All you have to do is be lucky enough to have your name pulled and be there. You’ll have 1/100 chance of winning a prize. I think those odds are good.

Sign posted on the 330 says 330 to Big Bear will be closed Sept 9 - Sept 20. I guess those of us used to taking this route, need to look at others....

    Niiiiice!

I'll be running Gold with 7 trucks. I'd encourage keeping the groups to 4-8 trucks max. The higher the difficulty the fewer the trucks. Gold for example do not attempt it without sliders. It could probably be done without them, but the risk of body damage is rather high.

It's very rocky, VERY fun, have solid tires, some added ground clearance and the willingness to learn unless you're @BestGen whose done it all haha.

Gold Mountain is definitely more difficult than White Mountain, but that's because it's more technical. I don't recall there being steep climbs or cliff edges, but there's also no easy lines around the obstacles like the hill on White. 100% doable in a Tundra with lift, tires, and sliders.

Examples of Gold Mountain (albeit not the best to show the areas where sliders are needed lol):

I’m tagging along for Gold, but might take point for my buddy even though I’m not “leading” it.

Depending on how many Tundras want to run it we might have to split it to two groups since we’re at 8 trucks. But I can’t imagine us having to wait long for you to run through an obstacle lol

I’ll have t-shirts also for anyone that would like one. 1st come 1 served.

I ordered 150 t-shirts and they should all go.

And both are free thanks to the sponsors.

I’ll post a picture of the t-shirts when I get them next week

Questions for those familiar with this campground:

Does each site have a picnic table?

Does each site have a bear-discouraging Metal food locker?

Each site has a table. The metal food locker are shared maybe every other site.

I’ll be in site 11. With stickers and t-shirts

I have to work Friday. I won’t get there until 9 or 10 pm.

    I ordered 100 stickers and 150 t-shirts.

We should have enough for everyone, but maybe not in the size you want...:anonymous:
