I am looking into getting some new UCAs on my truck. I recently installed Billstein 6112s on the top setting. I’m not positive I need new UCAs but my tires do look like I have a slant inward when looking at the truck head on. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad slant but it seems noticeable.

Which UCAs come highly recommended to make sure I’m good to go with 6112s on top setting? Thanks!

Was your alignment shop not able to make it perfect? Did they charge you for the alignment

I don’t know if it’s a great alignment or not. It was a difficult alignment. Two separate shops did it. I would say the truck rides/drives ok but the more I read the more I wonder if a new set of UCAs would be beneficial in the long run.

Total Chaos UCAs. That's my vote. Great company.

I have chaos uca’s as well. Ive run camburg on my last truCk. Both are top notch. Go with either.

Unfortunately the alignment shop doesn’t sound too good. They should have known exactly why they can’t get the camber fixed. The new uca will correct that immediately but you need a new alignment anyways after the install.

I had SPC on my Tacoma, they worked great. This time I choose JBA, they have an excellent reputation with Tacoma/4Runner crowd and great customer service.

Total Choas has a strong following on this forum.

Does anybody have experience with Icon uniballs? I bought a pair off a member on here. They were a good price and I needed them for a scheduled install this weekend.

I went SPC too with my 6112, as they are supposed to be low maintenance.

TC probably gives you a lot more performance if you hit a lot of trails

Thanks for posting! Just had a lift installed with SPC UCA's and noticed a slant on the rear tires. Didn't realize this was the issue or fixable.

Shouldn’t need new UCA for 6112 on top setting.

You do need to find a better shop to get an alignment tech who knows what they are doing

I think you’re right. Wonder if I should just find a dealer who works with tundras? It’s hard to tell who knows how to a proper alignment.

I think where you live also plays into what you get. Uniball designs and roads that are salted in the winter don’t play well together. (Said someone once, and I’m just repeating. So take this info with a grain of, well...salt.)

My SPCs are squeaking like some baby ducks. I wonder if this is normal after only one winter

The SPCs are great but it has been noted by many they are not too good in areas near the coast or in cold areas that salt the roads
