You can add leather by installing Katzkin s. Can do heated and cooler. And different stitching patterns.

So. Get the one you like. Add leather for a lot less.

Limited Tundra doesn't come with ventilated seats (wish it did), only heated seats. If you want OEM ventilated, you have to go Platinum. Either way, I don't believe either Limited or Platinum come w/ bench seats.

I was in the same situation and unless something changed recently you can only get the 6 seater in the SR5. I put katzkins with heat in mine and I’m happy with it.

AFAIK when i was shopping for my 2018, the front bench seat was only available in the SR5 trim and without any upgrade packages.

591E562C-D26F-4250-BDAF-46C386FB7657.jpg Katzkins huh! Is that something the dealership puts in or I order and instal? Never heard of them! Would you recommend the TRD over the SR5? What’s the main differences? This is the truck I’m looking at but it’s just the basic SR5 so I’m weary ...

Biggest problem with getting a bench seat is you can’t get the 38 gallon gas tank. The larger tank is included in the SR5 upgrade package and that package eliminates the bench seat. Also, there is no leg room in the center seat. Only a small child can sit there semi comfortably and there’s really no space for even a booster seat.

TRD is a trim package you can add. It basically is different rims, tires, shocks, and skid plates more or less.

Yyou basically can get the TRD package as follows....

    SR5 w/ TRD Off-Road package
    SR5 w/ TRD Sport Package
    Limited w/ Tara's Off-Road
1794 Edition w/ TRD Off Road package.

Think z71 package on Silverado, or FX4 package on Ford.

Katzkin are very reputable and many people on here have their products.

    Ok cool thank you.
Wish there was a more luxurious option with the 6seats. I have 2 babies and 2 big kids so will have small children for awhile lol ... just gonna be hard going from my limited 4Runner to a SR5 model

As for Katzkins do I order those and have them installed or is that maybe something I can have dealership do?

The Toyota dealer in Knoxville has a huge accessory department and building across the street and they really push aftermarket stuff. They carry Katzkin and do a lot of seats. So a dealer is a possibility. I would call Katzkin and see if they have anybody in your area or go to an auto upholstery shop. I think a dealer would be very expensive but you never know.

Instead of a Tundra, look into the Sequioa. It is a Tundra with a third row seat......

Sequoia was a possibility but love the truck since we’re avid campers/surfers outside peeps. I appreciate all the help and information! I’ve heard the Tundra is getting a major overhaul for 2021 wish it was 2020!!

The console shifter in the Limited/Platinum is the roadblock.

I bet its silly-expensive $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and involved to change a console shifter over to a column shifter in order to drop in a bench seat. This would involve carpet, steering column changes, trim parts, shifter , etc.

Leather seats with testicle chiller are the least of concerns...

The OEM ventilated seats don't seem to work all that good on mine tbh.

The OEM ventilated seats are completely useless. Every once in a while you can maybe feel a little air. It is the same in our 4Runner. Unless someone told you the seat ventilation was on one would never know. They are not cooked like the higher end Ford and Chevys.
