Help a fellow Tundra

Just curious if you were out and about and saw a total stranger who drove a Tundra that needed help would you stop and help out? Wether mechanical or stuck or needed a tow

Not too sure what I would do if it was inferno orange. Probably would help anyway...

 

Almost exclusively the top. I work with a lot of giraffes so can speak with authority on this issue. When they show up with their tie down low they are subject to merciless ridicule.

 

I think it would depend on the neighborhood. Are we out where lots of people are around, or in the hood somewhere ? Basically, yes I believe in helping out a fellow motorist. Good Karma I guess......

 

if it feels safe for me and dire for them, I'll help out regardless of what they are driving. Well...maybe not an F150. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

 

I'd like to think I'd stop and approach cautiously. One of the advantages of always carrying.
But if it was an inferno, I'd definitely stop.

 

Might be a moot point but I could care less if they were driving a tundra or not.
the balance between my safety and the perceived risks and the civilian need for help are all there is. Situational awareness and being prepared

 

If my wife and kids aren't with me... definitely if it's a senior citizen and most likely if she's wearing daisy dukes.

It was just a matter of time...

 

I will only pull over on 3 conditions. I personally have to see the person pull over, OR It would have to be an obvious damage situation (like a crash or someone sliding off the road etc). And the last one is anyone on a motorcycle - because they are in far more danger than anyone else pulled off to the side of the freeway.

Not to say I haven't pulled over otherwise, but it's pretty rare and usually in a densely populated area like downtown. I also usually have my hound who doesn't take lightly to strangers unless I tell her it's okay. She's been trained to protect really damn well, and knows what to do if I'm in trouble.

 

Now there's something I can't ever unsee.

 

I'm always the Good Samaritan... much to my wife's dismay... AND like stated before... I always have situational awareness, I'm always packing, and if it were my wife broken down on the side of the road and I wasn't available... it would be nice if a nice, honest guy helped her out.... yes, she's packing too...

 

No Kidding. We used to have the beer rating system "How many beers would it take...."
