You also avoided the $2800 price increase on the 2020 TRD Pro! So you really saved BIG! Congrats!

Dude I paid 48K for my DC two years ago. Well there where add on to push the price to 48K. I would pull the trigger in a heart beat. Go down and buy it. You will love the truck and added space.

Long story behind getting this truck late last night but the dealer gave me the wrong truck that was stickered $2,500 more than truck I was supposed to be getting but the manager working had no clue about the specific one. Ill explain shortly! (I know your reading and thinking that is NOT POSSIBLE! IT IS AND HAPPENED!)

Beautiful truck! I love the look of the PROs. Toyota did a great job with them for sure.

Yes have to agree. While Chevy is putting Duratracs on the Colorado ZR2, and Ford is putting BFG KO2s on the Raptor, Toyota puts crappy Goodyear w/ Kevlar tires on the Taco and Michelin Street tires on a Tundra.

At 47k, it's probably gone now. I got mine for 48k yesterday. Best deal I could get around here.

I used to buy all my 4Runner TRD PROs that I would sell to the drug cartel from St Charles Toyota. Now they won’t give me any deals so I shop around.

I would buy 2017 and 2018s and sell them to a dealer in California who would sell them to the cartel for $85,000 a pop. So not directly from me but they went there. Cements we’re going for $95,000 to them. Crazy stuff

Use the same % off for the other one at Oak Brook Toyota to get the same deal. In fact I think they’ll prob do better than that %. I would offer them 48k for it. Best and Final. Connor Rohrman will personally let it go.

Looking to buy my first truck and pretty certain it'll be a Tundra (previously wanted a Tacoma but rented one for a week and didn't like it).

Will the 2020 Pros be going at list price or is there any hope at all of negotiating discount?

Everyone I’ve run into pretty much sticker. I don’t think the hype is as strong as others believe and deals will be had once all dealers start landing them. However your looking at max 2k off and 19s will get you 5k off so it’s a tough choice.

I can wait. I've been waiting to do this for a long time. And still not sure if I should wait to see what the rumored 2021 redesign will look like. CarPlay and Green are *almost* essential for me, so that sadly rules out the 2019s! Heart over head, I know.

Sorry for the delay. Waited for the dust to settle. So I had a deal worked out for a base truck of $51,390 and sales price of 47,000.The dealer kept trying to nickel and dime me on stuff like trading in my 19 4Runner under my wife's name to the Tundra under mine and charging me $552 for that etc. I said ok no problem. Took the worksheet to another local dealer who has a price match guarantee and said you have the same truck and here is my trade. They DIDNOT want to do the deal but per the policy I held them to it. Legit sales manager did not want to do it. So to not get the deal under the policy he came back and said financing is 8.1 APR for 72 months knowing I would walk. Instead I laughed and told him I would be back tomorrow with my own financing. He was pissed and I left.

The next morning I call my saleswoman and let her know I secured my own financing (4% for 72) and I will be heading over to pick up my truck. She tells me ok I will let the managers know and they will give you a call. (Sales manager from night before is off this day now). Hour goes by no call, so i call back. Saleswoman doesn't answer, call back, manager doesn't answer, etc. Called 26 times till 7 pm the preowned manager picks up finally and says man you are creating quite the scene around here with all your calls etc. I said listen im just trying to get my deal done that was agreed upon and that's it. He tells me sorry im not putting my name on that deal etc. So I call the owner of the store. Goes to his voicemail but called back and let the manager know i called the owner and will take it up with him. He then tried to handle it right then and there and was like let me get all the info from the manager last night and ill call you back. Hour later he calls me and says well do the deal because we don't want you suing us over the policy.

I showed up at 8:55 during the Bears first game and was the only customer there. Sales manager was shaking in his boots. Told me he wanted to get me in and out. Had TFS match my 4% interest rate for 72 and sent me back to finance to sign away. As i'm sitting in finance looking at the VIN on my contracts its not the same as what I had the worksheet for. Looked online and it was $54,000 sticker being sold for $47,000. When I was going over the financing with the manager to match he said its a joke that they were matching such a low price on the ONLY TRD PRO Tundra they had. (They had two!) He assumed he only had the $54,000 truck in front of the showroom. The cheaper truck was on another lot. He had no clue. So I signed all the paperwork with a really cool finance guy and his last words were "I heard you strong armed these guys on our bullshit price match policy. Thats awesome and congrats!"

They gave me $1000 more than I paid for my 2019 4Runner TRD PRO and sold me a $54,000 truck for $47,000 (Also had front window tint added.) Now i'll just refinance the 72 months in 90 days for around 1.9% and call it a day. (Only negatives, they only gave me one key for the truck and the steering wheel is not aligned.)

Just for my knowledge, what features is a "base" TRD Pro missing versus the nicer one?
