Driving slow in the left lane sets me off every time. I travel to Texas about once a month for work and I swear; this place is the worst I've ever been to about people putting along in the freaken left lane. I past a row of seven vehicles yesterday. everyone one of them was doing right at the speed limit in the left lane. Not a soul in site in the right lane.

At some places, I've interviewed at feeling like I was called to contribute to the "Equal employment opportunity Act", rather than for my experience.

Maybe its just me who feels that way.:(

Got a text from my boss Aug 28:

Him: "Hey, you back to work yet? We have a bunch of stuff coming up".

Me: "Nope, I can come back to work for you. When do you want me in?"

Him: "I'll call you tomorrow once I have some details on when prints and material come in and let you know"

    Me: "Perfect.

Fast forward to Friday, Sept 6. No call, no text yet. So I call him and get a text back:

Me: "Hey any word on that work?"

Him: "I'm on vacation this week, I'll know more when I get back next week"

Gah. I'm ready to go back to work and even though I don't want to go back to welding, it makes more sense to do it for another 8 months while The Woman finishes school. Then I can pull the plug and switch to something else. This lack of information and organization from the company I worked for is typical but pisses me off.

They really want me back, but if they don't get their shit together I'm going elsewhere...

My technique is to finally get in front of them, then let off the gas until they eventually move over to the right lane.

A few years ago, the company screwed something up in payroll, and checks were deposited a day late. The owner emailed all the employees, and said if they have any overdrafts to email him the details and he’d pay it. Love that guy.

Used to bother me too until I learned that you’re supposed to use both lanes up to the merge point. It works better that way. Just like a zipper.[/QUOTE]

It doesn't work better. It causes bottlenecks and backs traffic up for miles.

Edit: The quote function did not work quite how it should have.

How about going in to a restaurant and they have two sizes of drinks. Medium and Large. Excuuuuuuuuse me. If you have only two sizes, it is Small and Large. Using Medium infers that there are three sizes and this size is in the middle.

    - People who constantly complain about or talk about how inferior the Tundra is when they're a Tundra owner on a Tundra forum. Literally, the biggest Tundra bashers I've ever seen are some of the owners on this site.

    - People who come out of an aisle in the store with their shopping cart and don't check for others walking past. FFS, just put the nose out a bit for warning, have a look, and continue.

+10 hate points when they never even acknowledge they nearly ran into you.

People who make decisions, vote, voice opinions and otherwise live life based on emotions and not logic piss me off. People who do the above based upon the little bubble they live in are just as bad.

This is true, it does work. I have known a few traffic engineers who could cite the actual research proving that it does. There is a long explanation that discusses the time it takes for people to close gaps in front of them and other human behavior but I don't remember all the details.
