    I fuckin wish I wasn't colorblind...

That's a nice fat envelope though, whichever tune that is.

Awesome. With 800lbs on bed, the D mode puts out gobbles of torque. With no load, it acts normal. Gear Lock in S mode is a very great feature. Also from observation Tow/Haul transmission shifting seems to hang before upshifting. With D mode upshift is almost instantaneous.

Really appreciate you posting the dyno results @OVTune.

The max HP and torque increases are nice, but Gearlocking really allows the engine to access so much more in the lower RPMs. Very nicely done and a big win for towing and offroad.

Just wish you would have been able to post this yesterday!

This was my first experience with a Dyno and it sure was awesome! Flashing between tunes was simple.
I had about an hour to drive home and collect data logs.
Here are some of my driving results:
    * super smooth shifting
*I couldn't detect any dead spots. There was power anytime and the truck didn't hesitate to give it.
    * Gear lock worked like a charm. I did a couple of wot runs in various gears. 4th gear towards the mid and higher rpms really got my blood pumping.

Over all: I freaking love it! This was money well spent!

    Thanks again, Mat.

Edit: one other thing I forget to add. Normally when I'm going up a grade or Hill on the highway, my truck is ready to unlock the torque converter. When I was coming home and driving about 70mph in drive, I found that my truck had no probable going up grades and didn't need to unlock the converter. Very happy about this.

question........ I currently have another tune. It deleted the CEL codes for the o2 sensors. I'm running full ARH w 2X cats not 4. If i flash with OV now, and start getting CELs popping up, can i revert to what i have now by reflashing the stock file sent with my 87 and 93 baseloads? thank you

OVTUNE, Once S-Gear Lock becomes available, do we have to email you and ask for the updated tune or will it be sent out as an update automatically?

    Found the post from yesterday.

Just not sure if more features are being released that they are working on, or if the info they posted today was the goodies.

If you have DAP and did the remote tune via Dimsport, load the stock tune from Dimsport. This will load the DAP tune from your ecu back to Dimsport.

After stock is loaded, load the OV Tune. If CEL pops up, load the stock tune from OV Tune, then connect Dimsport and load DAP.

If you don't load stock from Dimsport and go straight and load the OV, then your DAP tune is gone.

Thanks man! but ummm where we gonna find big rock to try it on???

Sounds like @OVTune knows the answer, if the ecu is limiting throttle in 1st gear when in 4wd, then that makes a lot of sense. As long as he can get rid of that, I'll be purchasing!

One more thing Mat, whats the ETA on headers??? I'm currently shopping for a good set of catted LT headers. I would like to see how yours are going to perform. Will you be offering a package price for headers and tuner???

That’s probably the nannies limiting power. I’ll play with 4x4 this weekend. I’ll find a terrain to make the wheels spin. There’s a dirt ditch in my area.

That's what I was thinking. The last time I shut them down and had it in 4wd, there was no loss of power. But you might not want to have the traction control off. So it stinks you have to go through that process every time.

If you have a 2nd gen, stop, hold the traction button down for 3 seconds, let up and hold it down for 3 seconds, a second time. You should see the trac off light.

Who has done E85 testing? We purposely purchased the 2014 FFV Tundra so we could tune it the same way we did our FRS and take advantage of the power available through E85 tuning (ignition and fuel trims). I see it's available, but who has actually used it yet?

Also, is it possible to use the cruise control stalk for map switching instead of the tow/haul button? (pull-and-hold, then flip through the maps like in ECUtek?) I'm not sure we want entirely different maps in tow mode. For instance, I'd like a power tune and an mpg tune, but still be able to choose if I'm loaded or not - if that makes sense.

I had the same question regarding FFV trucks earlier, it looks like the ECU will just switch between E85 and gas depending on ethanol %, but no clear answer yet. I'd like to see E85 numbers vs Premium (91 here).

I hope the E% switching is more granular than ON/OFF. The trims and timing should be variable based on the actual E% being read, since the percent can vary so much depending on geographic location, and also whether the tank was half full or not when the fuel was switched over.

In Phoenix at least, most E85 measured at around 55% ethanol if you were lucky.
