I’ve done that so many time, buy something that looks cool and find out later something else came out even better.

I received mine today and all I have to say is that I'm not impressed. For $34 I'd expect a better quality material. The plastic feels cheaply made and very thin. All the pieces had bent or chipped edges. I say pass on this whoever haven't purchased it

 

That blows... Yeah for that price, just go with the TufSkinz version. The rings don't look as cool but at least they're not chunked up. I assume AJT will fix it for you at least.

Anyone else received theirs to compare?

 

I received mine today; perfectly intact. Installed in less than two minutes and look great. I will post pictures tomorrow. Sure they’re cheap plastic but once installed they look like they came with the truck.....for what I paid, it beats taking apart the entire dash and plastic-dipping or vinyl wrapping the ugly chrome. I am happy with the purchase and it looks great

 

Totally agree, too much hassle to take all 4 vents. I just hope the knobs are cool ,i got those also.
The picture above looks good to me.

 

Mine were intact without any quality issues. Install was easy just watch the video on the AJT Website.

I'll get pics tomorrow. Tried tonight but they didn't turn out very well due to time of day and cabin lighting.

 

Probably would have gotten these if I hadn't already purchased the black OEM rings and center trim pieces.
I purchased his control knobs and key fob! Love them. Quality pieces.
I wonder if the ones above got damaged in transit. I'm sure Adam would be more than happy to replace or fix the issue.

 

Looks awesome, i just noticed that the chrome ring where the knob are black, did you paint it or vinyl or plasti dip them, and how if you don’t mind me asking. Thanks

 

I pulled the rings out and painted them. I need to redo them. I didnt prep the surface.

That's badass. I ended up plastidipping mine in place, but cool to see how to fully disassemble that panel. The only advantage to using PD was it let me get the 4WD knob ring as well.

 

For sure in for some red ones to match the stitching.
