Is everyone thinking about the 10” now? I’m pretty sure that’s what I’ll get. I’m on the fence. Maybe I can get a 9” lol

The only “budget” is I believe one that dumps under the truck, otherwise it’s just the muffler size 6-12

I tow quite a bit and for long distances sometimes so for towing 10-12” if I didn’t tow I’d do the 8”. It’s just engineered perfect for sound and low drone at cruising speeds.

Just curious can you just take out the resonator on Tundra? Somebody make a resonator delete kit?

You could blank off the hole you’ll cut to install BAM resonator. Have you watched the dirty deeds install video. It’s informative and entertaining.

The resonator is a you install type thing. It comes as part of the kit - you cut a hole in your exhaust pipe where it goes over your rear axle and clamp the resonator over the hole.

Everyone should talk to Keith about what they want and don't want from a system. I am coming from driving a diesel F250 in my past so some drone does not bother me so I opted for the 8" system and am skipping the resonator (saves 100 bucks). Plus I am not interested in cutting into my 2019 exhaust just yet lol.

I test drove a truck a few weeks back that had the TRD exhaust and I really liked it but I didn't buy the truck (decided to keep my 17 I bought new). I immediately called Keith to ask about a system and said I drove the TRD but I want just a tad more, he said 8". Luckily he told me this group buy was coming up and wait a couple days then call back to get in on it, as far as I know I'm #2 as I ordered on the group buy deal just days before he officially announced it :bananadance:

@dirtydeeds So, I’m interested in your modified mid-pipes for my 3rd gen 5.7l with the JBA ceramic long-tube headers. I already have a custom exhaust system that I want to keep. As well as, I want to keep my stock mid-pipes, just in case I want to return to a stock setup in the future.

What options do you offer and costs? Note: I prefer to go with catted mid-pipes. Thanks.

Come on guys dont wait and get your orders in. Picked up the new truck and it was way too quiet.

Slapped on my old bamuffler 8" and boy does it sound glorious!

5 days no exhaust and had separation anxiety!

Thanks Keith again for all the answered questions.

This may come off a bit naive, but do any of the choices affect throttle response and more than the other? I did the SABM and that helped alot, but it still doesn't pick up right away...

Okay, I'm officially in... deposit made on a Stainless Budget System! So stoked, I really was on the fence about the 6" vs Budget systems as far as noise level and because I live in a pretty quiet up-level subdivision. After listening to countless videos and sound clips, the budget is what I want and I'm willing to soft-pedal out of my sub to make it happen. So stoked, and I'm in shipment #3 for mid-October.

    Keep ordering guys! :spending::yes:

I understand the struggle my friend... I am going to keep my stock exhaust and hang it in the basement... I can reinstall it in about 15 minutes if the whole fam needs to take a road trip or go camping. But every other day of the year, that sound though.... :bananadance: looking forward to that rumble again, I haven't had an uncorked V8 in 12 years. I also got it approved by my wife and both my next door neighbors, one of whom has a very loud classic Dodge Charger so he didn't mind at all. But he doesn't leave for work at 5:30am.

I definitely understand. I don’t have the money for it either but that’s what credit cards are for, right? Buying parts you can’t afford

They are a pricier system so I would have to seriously consider making the stretch if they were included.

The TRD replacement system is a lot more labor intensive to build. Keith has had 3 group buys on the TRD system in the last 2 years, i ran 2 of them and someone else ran the last one. I recall the group buys each had between 7-10 orders each after a month or so of running it. Compare that to the standard and buget system GB that has 60 plus orders

I understand. I wasn’t one here then and didn’t know about them. I really wish I was though. I understand business wise why you wouldn’t but it there is another one. I’ll definitely be on that list.
