    That may be the case.

Another guy that's hard as hell to reach is Billy with Brute Force. I can call, text, email whatever and will get a.reply.maybe 1/10x
It's like the two vendors I want.to.give.my.momey to don't have time to talk to me ever. It's frustrating

Bought the Tepui insulator and Weatherhood for my 2 week road trip to Utah in October. We’ll be ready for whatever weather gets thrown at us.

I’ll do the dirty deeds headers (for the air injection.) probably do a single exit exhaust and plumb the cutout around the muffler then back into the tail pipe.
I don’t plan on running cats.

That is frustrating. I had the same experience with another company that I wont mention again. I don't get it. I would never run a business that way. If you're that busy then hire another person part time to answer calls. There is a member here that knows him and says we can order from B.F.F directly through him. He commented in the slider thread.

Do you think.a.single.exit exhaust will perform as well as a dual?

Should. I’m going to sacrifice some performance to be quiet when I want though. The cutout will be straight. Muffler off to the side.

So I guess nothing is gonna happen on this suggestion? @Pinay @T-Rex266

Maybe we can make a mod of a first gen person so this little slice of heaven gets some attention?

I installed the short nipple Fumoto valve on my 3.4l, and I had no problem getting tubing on the nipple so that I could drain the oil directly into an empty container. I like the short one because its functional but doesn't stick down as much.

Not when they are pertinent info threads. It's hard AF to find good first gen info and good first gen vendors. We basically have no first gen vendors on this site.

A bunch of stickies is a bad idea. One sticky with an index of links to good threads is a good idea. I've seen that on several forums, the only trou le would be who manages the thread to add links to it.

I found out that I need to replace my brake booster. Looks easy enough but I'm on the fence about sourcing one. My options seem to be pay +/-250 for a remanufactured one, or pay $650 for a new Toyota one.

My cheap bastatd side doesn't wanna fork out an extra $400 for a part that isn't all that cool. Nobody pops their hood and says get a load of that booster. My past experiences with some rebuilt parts tells me just pay up because you never know what sort of boobery you'll get, like the time I got remanufactured calipers and the blenders are 8mm.

Who is our resident Toyota guy? Is it Cool Springs?

Just the really informative threads like how to's, a part numbers thread, new owner info, stuff like that. @Darkness has a point, but if they're up where they are now in the scrollable section I dont think it would be a bad idea. Lots of good info has disappeared and takes a lot of effort to find.

I'm nobody special around here and not trying to tell anyone how to run this place, just throwing it out there. Maybe we could do a "feeler" thread and see what others think? Kinda gather an opinion of users? Rereading my earlier post I kinda came off as an ass; I apologize for that.

I remember a thread a while back about someone having problems replacing theirs. I think it was an 05-06 issue though.

But when you show up at an event people will say look at all the cool stuff on that first gen...
as opposed to people at the junkyard finding your crashed truck saying look at all the cool stuff!

    :)

solid foundation & excellent brakes are way cool because it means the truck is still on the road.

That thread sucks because it's all 2nd gen stuff. Very little first gen stuff there

Honestly it's a problem I tried to address to the staff years ago on TW. They should have divided every subforum by 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen from the get go.
IE: That way when I go to performance forum I would actually get 1st gen threads in my results. Instead of a jumbled mess of irrelevant 2nd and 3rd gen threads 99% of the time.
The first gens are neglected because we have 0 in common with the newer gens beyond a name.

Can anyone with a TRD Tundra tell me which colors on their coil springs goes on which side? I bought @bajaphile 's used Bilstein 5100s a while back, and he graciously included the TRD coil springs already assembled on the strut. But because I don't have a TRD, I don't know which strut goes on which side, according to the colors painted on the springs. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have the spicer carrier bearing part # for the 00-02 access cab 4x4s? I thought I saved a link but when I cross reference the part number, it says it’s incompatible.

If someone wants to create a thread with what should be stickied I’ll do a few. Maybe just one that has threads in it to redirect it? (If that makes sense)
