What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

New grille insert and a quickie bath before it rained again.

 

Is that some kind of parking trend? I noticed the same thing here in Texas. I’ll purposely park far enough away from any other cars. Lo and behold, when I come back there’ll be some other vehicle, usually a truck, parked right next to mine despite many other empty spaces much closer to whatever establishment the parking lot serves.

Threw in the center console organizer acquired from Amazon...it works well and certainly aides in "not" losing items in Ms. Perkin's Console Storage...

I recommend trading it back in for another color.

Nope. They are melted together. There is no butyl or permaseal.

Thank ya. I’ve been a big fan of those. I ordered one for my F150 the day after I bought it and it held up for over seven years. I did the same thing with the Tundra. Hope both will last equally as long or longer.

How do you plan on sealing them back up?

 

I just did actually. I used plastic two part epoxy, then silicone to fill any missed spots. I’ve pulled apart my stocks and aftermarkets, both holding up great with no leaks.

 

Taking advantage of Labor Day pricing. Ordered my new tires (shoes) today, have an appointment scheduled for Saturday AM to get them installed. Am getting Nitto Terra Grapplers G2s in 285/55/20. I'm keeping my stock wheels for now, no lift/level. Went a little bigger, not much. Also am putting Michelin Defenders on my wife's Yukon XL Denali/ The defenders are great tires, have them on my other vehicles, but wanted to go with something a little more aggressive. I don't really offroad, just some mountain dirt roads where our cabin is in north GA. My truck is my commute vehicle mostly. I'm hoping the Term Grapplers won't be too noisy and will perform on the roads. We don't get much snow, but if it does, hoping the Term Grapplers are better than the Defenders (IMO, the weakest issue with them). At 100.00 more a tire, I'm hoping the Nittos are worth it.

Will post pictures Saturday after the install and a bath.

 

Finally had time for a proper inside and out cleaning. Looking great again, its been too long.

 

Added these to the rear end.
Will post pics once weather clears. Definitely will need to go with brighter leds in tail and brake lights. Already have led reverse bulbs.

 

I have these and they are money. I got the led bulbs for brakes and blinkers.

Traded in the Tacoma and came back to a big truck! 2019 - 1794. It was 3 weeks and 710 miles before I was hit in a parking lot. Crazy. Not a lot of damage but a pain in the ass. In the photo you can see the N-Fab steps. LED interior lights are done. Drivers O-shit handle and TRD center caps are on order. Did the center console storage things. Leer HF350M tonneau cover. Seat bolt cover caps. One of the coolest things I've done. Not sure why this is not a stock item. Scosche QI charger and started to do some de-chroming on the interior. Thinking of doing the grill and hump but my wife says she likes the chrome.
