Blacking out the mirrors and door handles

Hoping someone can help...

Looking to black-out the mirrors and door handles, however, I am not sure if the black grill on my truck is a stock color. And, if I get the mirror covers that are black, will they match?

Anyone know or have experience here? Maybe recommend a vendor?

 

lookup your paint code. should be 202. I bought my replacement set on ebay. easy install and perfect match

1G3=Magnetic Gray
What is LA13? Trim code for interior?

That probably means the grill was painted custom, correct? If it has a chrome bumper and chrome mirror/handles, the grill was probably chrome too.

I have a MGM truck too

 

your front grille doesn't look like the stock one for MGM. Looks black to me (like mine) and it would be 202 code for matching the grille.
now if you want to match the truck color, you need another color. (1G3). I would go with matching the body color, not the grille imo.

 

front grille looks to be a Rock warrior one. They come painted vs chrome ones.

 

Take some closeup pics in the sun to see if it's got flakes in the paint or if it's just black. If there's sparkles it's Attitude black 218

 

So you want to black out the chrome parts to match the black grill?

I would color match all the accessories to the body color.

But I agree with a couple posters above.

It might be an aftermarket grill and not a Toyota oem color.

Posting a pic of the grill close up might help determine if it’s an OEM color

Definitely not sparkle or metallic, its gloss black.
Not sure if it is Rock Warrior or aftermarket.

 

I think you're right, found this on ebay...
So, where do I find 202 painted mirrors? Then again, if I get 202, it wont match the bottom part of the mirror, it looks to be a satin or flat black.

 

correct. for the mirrors, it just replaced the back not the whole mirror. I got mine from the same seller on ebay.
