    Yup, that’s the place!

Hi, @Fiestee23, I see you checkin’ in. Um... yeah. The “easy” portion of this run was more than was promised. I guess you’re probably never comin’ back out with us now, huh? :(

And my good friend, @Marty McFly, it’s probably for the best if you not read this thread. Anyway, no pictures. We made it all up. Best parking lot meet-up ever!

Haha! Mike, thanks for trying to save this thread by posting video— of Anyplace! You ROCK!! :fistbump:
Well. I don’t mind leading IF I can find a good rescue rig partner. I was very impressed with @TacoPharm and @JDL17CM4x4 and would lead up something difficult if either are up for being my co-leader. But... how awkward... I failed to discuss it with either of them. :anonymous:

I need to go check the San G thread; I’m assuming Phil is already signed up for San G....

As for what trail I’d do, I’m hoping for trip reports from the BAsTRD’s after they run Gold Mountain— I’d always rather run something I haven’t yet than something I just did. San G is a loooong way to go for one day of trail-running so I’m hoping to do something to challenge the Hulk. Working on figuring out what.

For reals, I’m not eager to lead stock trucks or mid-travel with new drivers up 3 wheel hill... unless someone with a winch and rescue-commitment runs up first, because I anticipate we’d be pulling a few up. Any takers?!!

Not entirely, there's the main San G thread but most of the trail runs have been coordinated via PM among friends. I've got a group of 8 already for Gold, the prior trail I was going to run the moment it was publicized went from 6-10 rigs.
It's the blessing and curse of having a lot of friends on the forums. I'm glad I'm along for the ride this year! I may take point for my buddy since I have a winch, but I didn't have to do any coordination lol.

I think there's a few people selling their sites on TW as well as a group site for sale and several people looking for sites.

Did @Jackjack make it up? I’ve heard off-line that the trick for this obstacle is to keep the driver’s tires on the rocks far left. I wish I’d known that Saturday. :angrygirl:

But maybe it’s good I didn’t know... since it worked; just powered through.
