Good call. Curious if they need to be indexed a certain way, some guys have had to do this for 5100s.

No, no offense! And I came across a bit heavy on my response... I want to cuss and throw stuff on here to show how MAD I am at the bad input I was given! Lmao!
I will probably go with spacers because I had these wheels powder coated and I really like how the tires look on them...
Shitty service right now so I can't get the pic to load... will do in a little while

    What wheel?

I ran 285/75/16 on the TRD Ivan Stewart wheels with a slight frame rub at full lock with a 2” lift on my 2001.

I’m not familiar with the the Eibach setup. Is it possible that the lower spring perch is upside down? 4Wheel Parts did that on a Bilstein to one of my 4runners once.

I checked Toytec’s website and your lower spring perches look correct.

Monday I will start with contacting Toytec and asking if they will make contact at full travel. If they say yes, then I will make a decision of whether or not to keep them. Then if I do, I will take them in to be readjusted and order some spacers (as suggested previously). Then alignment.

Here is a pic FINALLY of the wheel and tire together and mocked against the truck.

Thanks everyone for the links to sugested/recommended parts! I will keep them in mind.

I did notice when snooping around earlier there are some labeled (if I remember correctly) "2 to 4"" or maybe it was just like 3" on the UCAs.... is that really what I should look for, or if they are coming from an offroad brand is that sufficient? Not saying I will go that way, but just incase.

Hell, maybe I should just put back to "stock" with the Taco wheels and spacers... and then buy an older Jeep and actually build a crawler! Lmao!
    Love my Yotas!

you could install the rim and tire now to see what you need to do.
will it hit the UCA, LCA, turn the wheel see if it hit anything.
you could guesstimate how tall you need to lift by lifting it with jack how much wheel spacer you need to clear anything

I also am going 2" blocks in rear with Rough country shocks (their cheapy 1" to 5" models). I don't know if I will like it at that height in the rear so that's why the cheap stuff... I hope to have the truck for many years, so maybe at some point it will get heavily modified into a true toy-ota.

I think I started in another thread on here, but I can't even mount the tire with the Eibach forced into place and tightened down. It hit the UCA. The wheel still has about a 1/4" to go before touching the hub. Lol.
If I had a set of spacers to test with it would be nice, but oh well

Ok, just took these pictures for your reference. This is my 2006 Access Cab with Bilstein 6112 at the Bilstein recommended max height for my truck of 1". The outer spring diameter is 4.5".

The wheels are the 4Runner TRD Pro SEMA wheels from a few years ago. Unfortunately they only have a 7" rim width which is narrower than recommended for 285/70/17 BFG. I'm currently on 265s because I bought the tires before the lift.

I'm wondering if Toytec sent the correct springs?

I wanted those wheels but couldn't find them in my price range! Looks great.
The springs I have are quite wide... almost 5"
I'll try to decipher the number on the springs and make sure the correct ones were sent. Good thought!

Look how much narrower his springs are than yours...

I see on toytec website that the average lift at setting 2 with those shocks is 3.2!!! Oh man no wonder it’s so tall

Yup! If the were narrower it wouldn't rub. But it still wouldn't have much extension travel. I didn't even consider that when looking for kits etc...
And yes the 3.2 is alot, but I just assumed it would be like all the other kits out there that advertise one thing and give another lol...

their web said you could use your stock spring with it, so its a good news

Ride height is adjustable in increments - 0, .75", 1.5", 2.25" or 3" of average lift with stock coils.

After reading the Toytec page, I’d probably do the 2.25” lift with stock springs.

Yes sir! That was gonna be an option, but a hard one to fill. I have to have that truck for work, so I would have to take a day off (the best turn around I can get even with it "scheduled") is a full work day at the shops here. I would do it myself (have many times) but the last time I had an almost new spring compressor break on me and ripped a hole in the fender. Not touching those things ever again.

It's like I said, hard to get the stock springs off and on and each time costs, time off from work and labor. :(

You were using the spring compressor on the springs while it was still mounted on the truck?

BTW, I saw you talking about wheel spacers.
If you decide you want some I have a brand new pair of Nitro 1.25 spacers. I have no use for them and would sell them for $65 shipped.

It was some Chrysler pile of sh!t. I had the coil spring compressed and walked around the vehicle to get something, a part or tool, can't remember. It made a scrape noise on the concrete and a twang kinda and what I assume was the piece going through the rear fender. The spring kinda walked out into the street with the other compressor on it and stopped. I set a metal tool box packed full of wrenches in between me and it and loosened the compressor. Told my aunt to drive it or tow it in... I was done. Don't work in a shop anymore and don't care to know anyone that well to get it done on the side. Lol

Some luck has finally came my way, lol.
A local friend came through with a full set of Spidertrax spacers for real cheap!
Now to determine what Toytec has to say tomorrow...

they will say this to you
Provides approximately 2.5" of lift - (2.5" average lift is achieved with coils and setting the shock adjustment on the bottom C-clip setting) Use of top settings to get additional lift will reduce ride quality and may cause damage.

I did my Bilstein 6112 with 600# springs. Much less scary then my old spring compressor.

Trying to make a 3" Eibach front work
    Ok....
So I dropped the springs down to the lowest setting on the shock (since I can't return the springs and go factory instead).
It made the truck have a rake, but I actually think it's growing on me. (In the 12 hours I've had it done lol) got the wheels and rubber on and the alignment shop just called to say it is done.
The upper still makes contact at about 2/3 (maybe a little more) travel, but I can't afford any more right now.
So here she is! And no that's not my house, I do HVAC install in new construction.

The stance looks great! Definitely follow up with toytec regarding the contact at droop but at least you are driving!
