    I knocked the rear rotors off my 2010. Then put it back together. What are a with the poor rear backing ng plates.

    Removed the rotors. The backing plates are cut in half by the rotors. First I have seen of this. Checked other forums. Now understand this is a design flaw. Should be a recall. But no. 200 per side to buy them.

    Hopefully someone will chime in, I've never heard of a design flaw pertaining to the rear brakes.

    I worked for Toyota for 7 years and never put a backing plate on a tundra now if you bend it it will rub the rotor and make a lot of noise but that's fixed just by bending it back
