New LED bulbs for my low beams. Went with Sealight S1 series. Changing the bulbs was straightforward. But in the process I busted one of the plastic tabs that holds the trim under the headlight assembly. Any place to grab a few extra? It still went back in and is holding, but my OCD makes me want to replace it.

I haven’t gotten a chance to see the new lights at night yet, but the halogen bulbs that were on it when I bought it 5 days ago were terrible. Could barely see anything. Here’s a pic in the garage of one installed to see old vs new.

Rear bumper is well under way. I’m liking how it’s turning out so far even haha. Kind of trying to make it match somewhat to the front ARB one

Light bar install and installed a quick charge USB socket for the devices. This particular socket is set up for devices that have rapid charge. I wired it to the cigarette lighter wiring as then it will only be on at key on and when running. It's important to remember parasitic loads on the battery when installing accessories. I'll do a write up on the light bar install tomorrow

Here’s the main bumper structure tacked. Will be adding recovery points and something for the license plate. Of course I will be filling the end holes and welding it out.

I bought a kit of the plastic pop rivets from AutoZone. They have them manufacturer specific and it comes with like a hundred of different types. I damn near emptied the kit filling in all the missing rivets

    Hey group!

I put in a light bar today behind the grill. Not to bad. Should have gone with a 40” but, I can live with it. Anyone have any experience mounting a bar on the roof? Any recommendations or lessons learned? Thanks!

Also, I’m getting rid of those horrible, awful, useless side steps and getting a set of auto steps. Have any of you folks used them? If so, thoughts? 41DEAD78-B2AA-4021-AEA2-F49E1D50BB7A.jpg

Looks like the light bar is behind the grill, but maybe shorter than standard single-row light bars? Interested in the write up.

I like the look of those steps! You don’t like them? What brand are they? Where are you located? If you decide to sell them I might be interested.

Yeah it's behind the grill, it's a 22 inch and I was able to mount it in two factory locations with no weird brackets needed. I'll post more pictures and details in a bit after dinner

Thanks! I’ll give Autozone a try. Only need one that I know of right now, but I’m sure I’ll come across more.

Side note: the headlights probably weren’t as bad as I originally thought. Turns out the headlight adjustment knob was turned down all the way. That being said, after changing the headlights, I drove it home tonight and they were MUCH brighter. Here’s a pic. This was before I discovered the headlight adjustment knob in the cabin. So after leveling they’ll probably illuminate even better.
