After closer inspection (which admittedly I should’ve done prior to purchasing), there is a sticker that says “Rated for weights 500lbs tongue, 5,000lbs draw”

I will be towing my inboard boat with this truck. Boat plus trailer plus gear is roughly 6,000lbs. What should I do? Try to find a stock bumper? It’s kind of hard to believe that an aftermarket bumper that is by all appearances sturdier than the stock one would be rated for far less towing capacity than factory.

Looks like receiver is still OEM and independent of bumper.

Tow with the factory receiver, and skip the bumper hitch. Receiver is mounted directly to frame, bumper pull is just that... pull it right off:eek2:

Thanks, all. It appears the receiver is factory so I should be good. Took a pic. Don’t have much frame of reference since I’m not familiar at all with Tundras, but it looks factory to me!
