This is for all my Tundra brothers and SISTERS that suffer from either seasonal or year round swamp butt. I fell in love with the TRD Pro red stitching leather seats but of course cooled is not an option. I loved my seats enough to try this cheap alternative cooling pad. It connects to the cigarette lighter and to my surprise does not make much noise on the LOW setting. I think it even blends in well being that its all black. Living in Boston, this will be a seasonal thing for me. Our long winters tame the swamp butt monster. I did a little modification to the upper back portion of the pad as I never sweat that high up on by back and it covered the sweet TRD Pro stitched in letters. In any case this cooling pad is way too cold on the high setting. The low setting is cold enough for me. Its made by ZoneTech and you can find it on Amazon for 40 bucks. Also I didnt take a picture but I used the cigarette lighter located under arm rest. The switch and cable tuck right between the seat and center console and only thing visible is the cable running into arm rest(take a look at third mod pic).

How thick is this? What are the chances you could install this inside the seat?

My only real issue with it is how loud it seems to be. Can you use it and talk to someone on BT and they still hear you ?

Im measuring half inch thick. I thought about that but then you'd have to stab little holes in your leather. I rather not

That video is with the truck running and the AC off. If you listen you can even hear the exhaust on idle. So there was practically no sound in background. Im super picky with background noise during phone calls as I previously owned a Pioneer head unit which was horrible at that! This microphone absolutely does not pick this fan sound on LOW. I've never tried a phone call while on high but trust me your gooch will be freezing at that point lol. The exhaust while driving is definitely louder than this fan on LOW and I've never had anyone say they can hear that in background.

I would say that is an okay option if you dont use the lumbar support. Since I use the lumbar support right up against my back it also gets sticky during the summer heat. I also dont like that it doesnt have tie down bungee straps on both ends to keep the pad in place while sliding in and out as well and from sticking up in the air like the picture shows.

Working outdoors this time of year usually has me hoping into my truck for the ride home or next job pretty sweaty, I hope this thing cools & dries.

Oh yea. Within 3 mins. Well I can only speak for mine. I swear to you one day I entered the truck just as you did and made the mistake of putting it on high. I can not make this up, but for the first time ever I felt as if I had my gooch go into a deep freeze. It was pretty painful for the 10 seconds it lasted. That was the last time I put it on high

I'm looking forward to any reviews posted about these. Texas heat is brutal and I would love ball coolers in my PRO.

Funny because I just got back from Austin, TX last week and you are not exaggerating when you say that heat is brutal. I had a 2019 Toyota Rav4 with the AC maxed out and I still felt that heat radiating in from the front windshield on my legs. Its like you can never get comfortable and the swamp ass is on another level! Other than that, the BBQ in the Austin area, WOW! If you havent already tried it, Franklin's brisket is the best out of Terry Blacks, Louie Muellers, and Bretts. Terry Blacks beats everyone out with their sausage and sides!

Don't forget Micklethwaits BBQ - they have a food trailer in Austin and opened up a place in Smithville. Best BBQ I've ever had and they are open on Sundays in Smithville...

The nut chiller has been switched on full blast since mid June in my truck, I love it and probably won't turn it off for another month or so.

Might look into it. With wet okoles, testes and back can get pretty sweaty.

The vented seats were a big seller for me on the platinum. I don't even turn then off anymore, even if it's not that hot and I just put my windows down.

That's the air intake. You don't want you balls close to that or they will get sucked in.
