True that, I just assumed people would assume the cheapest icons given I’m considering 5200s.

I own a 3rd gen, so not completely apples to apples but I am running Bilstein 6112 and 5150 combo and it is flat out impressive on road. Stable, confident, and manages on road rebound so well. If I get 75-100k miles on the setup, I will replace the system when the time comes with the same. Currently have 6500 miles running the setup.

:anonymous: I assumed the cheapest icons were still more than the most expensive bilsteins

But honnestly I do love my 5160s

Sounds like you decided to keep the truck? I have Icon 2.0 in the rear. I guess they are fine but I almost feel like the leaf packs have more of an impact on ride quality than the rear shocks. I'm not the expert though.

I'd probably go 5100's all around and call it a day. Are the 6112s longer? I think you can install the 5100s without having to lift the bed up. That's always nice.

Yeah I think I’m going to keep it. The biggest reason I don’t want to go 5100s is that they technically only support a 1” rear lift, and I have a 2”. I also have heard that going a step above 5100s makes a big difference in ride quality on and off road.

The factory plug is not cut. I soldered wires to the plugs in the factory fog housing. And then soldered wires to my led pods.
Everything works like stock. If I go back to regular bulbs I'll have to buy new fog light housings.

hurricane season on the island? Probably routering new plywood for the windows - but for the house windows or the Tundra windows?

I can no longer use this bed extender. If someone wants it just let me know. I'll give you both mounting brackets as well.

I used Bilstein's max recommended height (1") for my truck. I don't know why the DC & Sequoia can go 2" but not the Access Cab. Doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah same here. That's the only reason I didn't buy the 6112s. I wonder how they would do with aftermarket UCAs on a different setting

Looks like something zed would use in the basement of his pawn shop.

-i just checked the price on those and I am very interested. Let us know how they hold up if/when you use them. Not bad for under $20 each.

It’s a little long, but excellent video on why these should be in your kit.

Does anyone know the breakdown on what trucks got the 3.91 rear end and the 4.10?

Ive done the VIN decoder on the Toyota website and all it tells me is "V8 Tow Pkg: 6800 Lbs Max Tow Capacity, Class
    4 Hitch"

I don't recall where, but somewhere I saw a list of axle codes. I just looked at the build sticker with the axle codes and lined it up with the list. 4.10 w/limited slip rear on mine.

I don't think it was this link, but this will help show you what to look for. https://www.lcengineering.com/LCTechPages/TECHGEARJANUARY.html
