Where do you live? I have a spare 2wd bezel in good condition I'd mke a deal on if you have interest. You'd have to change out the switch panel.

and the tundra blew another p/s line last night. On a friends freshly resealed driveway.

had the kit put in that replaces all the hard lines. But seems there's another hard line across the topside of the rack. Guess I know what i'm focusing on this weekend.

and... anyone know how to clean truck blood off a just resealed driveway w/o making it worse?

I’d love to take you up on that deal. But the airbag switch is in a different spot so nothing would bolt on.

There is a famous police chase from 03 involving an SHO. That's how I first became aware of them. Badass cars.

Dump some cheap clay cat litter on it and leave it overnight. Should get most of it, purple power, a stiff scrub brush, and a pressure washer for what's left.

Yup, that video made it around SHOforum after it happened. We were saddened by the loss of a 91 mocha. Kinda like losing an 06 blue tundra, rare color.

Man, purple power is awesome. I tried it once on some valve covers and I won't use anything else now. Good stuff.

Hey @SoCalPaul, I'd ensure you keep that receipt just in case. The only battery I've ever had that failed within a year was one of those DieHard AGM's. I did some research and found it was pretty common. Just FYI. Hope you don't have the same issue.

Hmm, don’t remember on the 2wds. The 4wds are right before the tail section

How soon do you need to know, I’ll grab a pic of my truck when I have it on the rack in a few hours

FWIW - went to the shop today, they looked it up & found I would need a whole new rack. Told them it SURE looked like it was just threaded on.…. He looked some more & found the lines separate. He called Toyota parts, they said yep - two lines, but only come with the whole steering rack. :annoyed: They hang up, told him I'd think on it, was leaving & his phone rings. He looks at the phone & gives me the hold-on a sec. finger. Toyota called back, oops - yes you can get the two lines alone & the seal rings. :yay:

So I dropped off the truck. Just threaded on, I could do it myself - but I know I'd cross thread them or round off. Cheaper to pay for it done by someone with skills & proper tools. Told him to look into the 'clunk' while he's got it.
So - today I dropped off the Tundra at the Dr.

That's the fill plug on my truck. I drained 3.5 qts out and put just a hair over 3.5 back in using a funnel and clear hose.
    Greased my driveline ujoints also.
I'm waiting for my K&N to dry then I'll test drive it. It will be good to go.
I'm going to empty out the power steering bottle next weekend and refill it
I'm at 117k all fluids are almost changed

I'm not sure this is gonna work. @Darkness may be right. You think it's safe to remove 1 camper clamp? I have 3 on each side. This would leave one in the middle and one up front.

Edit, I'm gonna try it but I'm not sure it's gonna work. I may end up with 6 new holes and no box.

    Small cosmetic upgrade.
Everything fit fine just had to cut the rubber boots around the bulbs because I have LED lights.

Just have to adjust head light beam angle tonight.

I guess I'll find out. Most of the bad reviews I saw on Amazon were fitment issues. One of the reasons I had Sears install it. The only battery I've had issues with were Optimas.
You could possibly relocate that clamp. There are also other styles of clamp, you might find one that clears.

Well it fit but barely. Super thankful it worked. The top of the lid actually hits the plastic bed rail and the striker plate isn't flush because the bed isn't flat there. I think it will be fine though.

Question: looking at new suspension front and rear. I’ve decided on

    Bilstein 5100 front/rear $700ish

    Bilstein 6112/Icon rear: $1000ish

Which one will ride better on road? Which one is a better bang for buck?

If you do get the 6112s I'd be interested to hear about how you like em and which setting you use. I'd save your money on the rear icons and go 5160

5160s are $70 more expensive, hence why I want to go icon.
