will the 2020 TRD PRO sequoias lights be somewhat different ?

 

Yes. The camera costs many times over what the truck costs.

 

Looks like the corner by the side marker may be black as opposed to the smoke color on the Limited/SR5/Sport ones.

 

So I'm kinda dense trying to figure out the different options.

Currently, when I drive my stock 2010 Tundra with the headlights off I have yellow DRL's.

Which option would come closest to duplicating this?

I'm guessing option 2.

The harness works great. I ran the wires that connect the headlights together under the radiator support. It took a few tries to get all the wires to fit properly behind driver side headlight due to battery. I had a hard time getting the DRL wire though the firewall. Hard to work in that area under the hood.

Low beam stays on with high beam. No alignment/adjustment required. Nice cutoff pattern. I can sometimes see all the little LED light patterns coming out during certain fog conditions. I noticed the new LED turn signals are twice as bright as my VLED v6s.

I fell in love with this conversion as soon as I saw it on this forum.

Im new here so thats not too long ago.

I have already ordered my harness and the filler panels.

I'm, going to take it slow and steady to find lights. hopefully eBay or local selling apps will come though with at least one side, then I will won't feel bad about ordering the other side brand new

 

These look great and really update the look of the second gen. Almost makes me wish I would have bought a second get platinum instead of the 1794.

 

Stumbled upon this thread a few months ago and bookmarked it as our search for a new family hauler began. I knew the first order of business would be upgrading the lighting so I contacted @xrunnerdude67 shortly after we picked up our 2016 SR5 and he had a harness in the mail a week later.

Couldn't be happier with the results and just wanted to thank Mike for providing me with the harness(s) and his prompt correspondence. He also made me an adapter harness for the LED fog lights in case any Sequoia owners are interested in upgrading those too. The new lamps make a huge difference both night and day.

Driver side came today, fill panels yesterday. I'm still looking for a reasonable passenger side. I prefer the blackpanel over the directional but wasn't paying attention and the driver side I got is silver so I'm stuck.

 

It's probably difficult to see both at the same time, so maybe no one else will catch on.

 

I'd know & it would bug me. I just have to find a silver one. Not that big a deal.

installed today! the headlight swap actually took me only like 20 minutes. easiest install in a long time. works great and all functions are perfect.

The EAG grill swap took me way longer than the headlight swap.

Passenger side supposed to come Saturday came today. They said it was Limited but it's SR5. Anyone want to trade either a driver side black panel over the amber reflector or passenger side silver panel over the reflector? (I'm trying to not have silver on one side & black on the other.

 

The SR5 and Limited are the same. Only one that is different is the Platinum.

 

Then I guess I have a platinum driver side. It's silver.

Funny thing is every junk yard I spoke to adamantly insisted there was only one part, I sent them pictures & the Toyota part numbers so they looked for the silver one for me and said they would call back. No one called back

 

Yeah, the SR5, Sport, & Limited are all dark gray, and the Platinum is Silver by the corner marker.

 

It'll bug me if I can't trade but I'll suck it up I guess.
