Afternoon, what was a simple written warning for tardiness turned into a termination for my longest tenured worker. @Jenna2712 you still want a job for 2 weeks?

Well if I'm only employed for 2 weeks not sure I can afford a camper! Lol

 

not as good as you would hope. Generally the laborers start at around $15, but if they get 90+ days they get into the union and get benefits. After 21 years In around $26.

no real future in it though in MA, they have been cutting staffs and replacing retirees with seasonal workers.

well I'm only making 15 at pelican and was informed about a month ago that there would be no chances for a pay raise in the near future. seriously considering moving to Maine with my friend and working for a guy hes friends with. he'll pay 17 an hour to people with a truck they're willing to use for work

 

No we don't wear those, that's for the schmucks that lead the tours. I'm mostly in Carhartts and agency Tshirt

if you made union then you'd get the col raises, then a step raise for every 52 weeks of work, so it might take 2-3 seasons depending on term to reach

 

The east is pretty sweet, the only natural disasters we get are snow storms and the tail end of hurricanes
