Hi folks... new to Tundra, but have been driving Toyota's since my first Tacoma in '86. Haven't moved away from Toyota since.

My current truck is a 2010 4-Runner- Limited. However, in the next 12 months I expect to upgrade to a Tundra, as I'm in the market for a travel trailer and need a reliable tow vehicle.

My goal as a part of this forum is to learn about the Tundra, with an emphasis on towing. Specifically, the tow package, trailer brake control systems, hitch systems... and the like. I'm new to towing, and will likely do a ton of research and reviews, before purchasing any equipment.

Oh... also looking to possible apply a truck bed camper shell, to keep my camping gear secure and weather proofed.

I look forward to learning from this group, in addition to sharing my own experiences.

    Duffy

    Hey there from Virginia!:mudding:
Consider a supercharged Tundra. Lots of power and great for towing. Plus, it's fun to say "Supercharged Tundra." :bananadance:

Welcome! Good choice on upgrading to a Tundra! Definitely recommend getting a camper top, I have a Bedrug as well as a leer cap. It’s like a huge trunk back there and everything stays safe and dry when we take trips
