Best time /place to buy method wheels?

Are those pro comp tires any good on our trucks? Mostly street and very little off road

 

I had pro comp on my old tundra they were horrible. All over the road in the rain

 

4WP has sales all the time. Good chance they’ll have a Labor Day sale. I just bought my Methods from them when they had a 25% off sale. Which Methods you thinking about?

 

Believe it or not I found the lowest price on my Methods on Amazon.com, free shipping too...

Get the 701's. They have the bead grip technology, you can air down lower. Only drawback is they're 0 offset. You going with 35's?

 

Yah 35s 12.5 on a 17 I think. I’m not a 37s guy I just dream of being one Hahaha

 

I would wait to Labor Day and see who has sales. I got mine on an Independence Day Sale. Crazy thing was, 4WP had 25% off. Then I went to America's Tire to get my tires and they had a 10% off sale. They were going to match 4WP's price on the wheels and give me an additional 10% off. That would've been $900 for 5 Method 702's. Crazy price. So I called 4WP to cancel the order but they had already sent it out so ended up getting them for $1000. You might want to look out for a deal like that.

 

Wow ok great to know yah I go to them for my tires maybe wait for a sale and see if they can do better and play them against each other

 

I know last black friday 4wp had a good deal on methods. Think i payed $178 a piece for 701's.

 

That's a great price. But I think the tariffs have kicked up prices on wheels and it might be difficult to get that kind of price again.

Discount Tire Direct usually has a sale around the holidays and they will price match other vendors. They will usually offer a lower price when you price match. They ship to your door for free as well. If you buy the wheels and tires together they will mount and balance them for free.

 

black friday is the best time. Usually 20 to 25% off, free shipping and no sales tax.
They also run the same sales on Icon.

You can do two transactions to get $400 off if the wheels are expensive enough.

 

I just talked to American tires they said if you sign up for their credit card they take 35 percent off so that would be around 500-600 off. Then just pay it off and cancel

 

With all this being said does anyone know what theses methods would go for if I sell them used it’s a 20 inch rim tires for free lol

That's actually how I got there. Looking for a spare wheel. I got a free brand new 35" tire, but its a 17". Hard to find a cheapie in our bolt pattern. I've seen them for 130 bucks or something for a 4WP parts one. Might just have to do that.....

 

No, sorry I think I was unclear. The 47 dollar Amazon one is an 18 and I need 17. I saw a cheapie at 4wp for $130, not a Method. I think that's regular price. I'll look at the sales and maybe I can get it cheaper.

 

Look up ‘off road tire guy’ on Instagram. Usually pretty competitive on wheels and tires
