    Hello Tundra family.
I’m inquiring about methods to reduce my trucks bouncing while traveling on concrete highways.
It’s hard to ignore and avoiding this stretch of road that I constantly travel is inefficient.
Is adding additional weight to the bed the answer to my woes?
If so, how much weight is needed to correct and does adding this weight cause noticeable mpg loss.
What about adding rear sway bars. Would this work or help? Is there no help.
At first I just lived with it, now it’s getting annoying.
    Your suggestions are much appreciated.

Not sure what the answer is but adding sway bars will make the ride even choppier.

Trucks are designed to haul / tow weight, add weight to the bed and you reduce the bouncy ride.

The rear of my short wheel base truck is lowered, the tires have a lower profile and there is a rear sway bar. I relocated my spare to inside the bed, added another 100lbs of weight, Line-X and a hard Tonneau cover. The truck rides smooth

Trade it for an MGM Tundra. They attract bounce canceling chicks.

Screenshot_2017-07-09-23-56-32-1.jpg Geez, my girlfriend does not do that to my truck and she is smoking hot. She gives a new meaning of enjoying being under pressure. Your girl must weigh a lot more.

You know why fat chicks and mopeds are alike?

They both fun to ride but you don't want your friends to see you on one.

Swap out the pressed in OEM rear leaf bushings with Energy Suspension poly bushings. ToyTec, Coachbuilder, and Wheelers Offroad sell them.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
Damn, I fell like an A-hole for this, but I am literally sick to my stomach from that.
    Sickening...

My truck rides smooth too, on paved or flat dirt roads!
What I don't get is why on this stretch of road formed with concrete?
It feels like there is a seam every 2' but it's quite long before any seams.
I wonder if it's the grooved concrete messing up the trucks suspension and harmonics.
Has anybody else swapped out their leafs bushings with the Energy Suspension poly bushings that Black Wolf suggested?
Did it work for you as well?

This is a common issue with our trucks. The rear leafs are trapezoidal which doesn't help. The factory pressed fit bushings have no give to them at all. Poly bushings help the bed bounce a lot. Combining them with greaseable shackles is your best bet.
