This is a commercial build right? Not someone's private 20 horse stable?

It’s all private. Not open for business like most would think.

Thanks!! I’m excited to push a button and have it open! :D
Getting out of your truck when it’s pouring down rain and manually opening/closing the previous farm gate sucked :D

Is that one tree behind it dead? That shop is beautiful, I'd hate for that tree to fall on it.

No center supports or posts? Is this a trussed roof or a hoop style building.
A friend of my did a last hoop style arena here in CT, massive footings that held the bases for hoops that spanned across to another footing. Closed in on 4 sides with one end being framed for a large sliding barn door, looks kinda like a bubble building. I was amazed to see that go up, but it's about half the size of what you're doing there.

The piers footings go another 8’ into solid rock per the engineers specs. Here’s a side profile of the clear span rafters. They just started this morning. The photos only represent 4 hours of work being done so far.

Yes, the covered riding arena is next to the main barn. This equine facility is for show horses.

LOL! I have no clue, but good find!
I’ll check tomorrow in the daylight. I have about 6 on my property that are dead and I need to fall.
I know it’s a shit ton more work, and I already have enough firewood for 3-4 years.

Eta - just found another pic. She seems pretty healthy :D

I had one of my trim crews install these 3/0x 8/0 solid alder doors for an addition project. This is the part of the master bath suite. The floor tile is 2’x4’ laid in a herringbone pattern. Lots of custom details on this project. I’m excited to see this project once it all complete! AEC9459E-541B-4DA1-B8A2-524E5B81211E.jpg

    IT'S POSSESSION DAY!!! :D :D :D

I'll be picking up the keys to our new home today. We're so pumped, it's our first house. No more renting for us! I've been watching this thread closely and planning all sorts of projects.

First thing to do is make sure my Tundra fits in the garage. I won't be parking it inside but I'll be working on it in there. Finally a dry and warm-ish work place. :yay:

My buddy put one in his garage to turn it into a game room. He loves how well it works in there.

Hate to see them go but roots are hollow on every one of them. I took a lightening strike on a tree in the back yard, hired an arborist to get his take on it. He said the lightening strike tree was the most healthy one in the yard. Others were a danger.

It does a good job of cooling. We have three heads on ours that cover a total of about 1,100 sq ft in three rooms on our second and third floors. They can be set to different temps and speeds. They move a lot of air.

My only complaint is that I can't figure out how to make it cycle on and off like a central unit. It runs continuously because it does humidity control as well as temp control $$$

The old buzzard that owned this house previously was the biggest hack in all of Hackville.
When the precast concrete steps in the back cracked and collapsed he wrapped them with standard lumber and outdoor turf carpet. All held together with drywall screws. Out of sight, out of mind.

That's just one example of his fine, DIY hacksmanship...
