Oil change leak

    Just changed my oil for the first time after dealer maintenance expired. I watched a couple oil change video and one important point I didn't see anyone mention. When installing the o ring on the inside of the cartridge be sure and put it in the groove not at the base. It will leak if you don't. Live and learn.

    Instructions that came with my filter stated exactly that. Did you read them?

    Everyone makes mistakes. You just have to learn from them. I have been working on cars for 30 years. I still make them. Keep trying new things. Nothing better than fixing it yourself.
