So I want to put LED bulbs in my cargo light, back up lights, and license plate lights. Is this just a simple bulb replacement or is their more to it. And can you point me in the right direction for the bulbs.

    Lost track after #1.
Lots of people using Headlight Revolution and/or VLEDS. Search and you'll find plenty of info on it.

Simple swap like stated above. Just be careful with the dome light. Blows the fuse quickly if you touch both connections.

Simple swap. I just replaced the same bulbs. VLEDS is the way to go.

Simple bulb swap. I highly recommend JDM astar bulbs off Amazon. I have had them for years and they work great and are bright. There are a lot of premier bulbs available out there but I just can't justify the cost.

Simple swap. There's a lot of YouTube videos on how to do it. I bought some SiriusLED on Amazon as well as some Chinese brands for my other car. Can't tell the difference in brightness. A plastic part tool and packaging tape would be helpful.

So easy just take your time. I even put JDM in my camper. Can't beat the cost.

I have the JDM astar bulbs in every spot I could in my truck except brake lights and those will be coming soon when I get some spare cash. I have not had any burn out or show up non functioning. I find them to be extremely bright with no flickering. They perform as well as some top dollar bulbs I have used in the past at a fraction of the price. Can't go wrong

I went the eBay route and my bulbs are still goin strong and bright

I swapped the license plate lights and back up lights. Both are much better but I may actually put the plate lights back in tho. The led bulbs are so bright there's a lot of glare on the camera from them at night. Almost cancels out the improvement in the back-up lights.

I did the same thing and actually found that the stock bulbs actual cause more glare than the LEDs! I had 3 LED bulbs that I grabbed from Amazon (one on either side and a third pointing straight out). I ended up wrapping black electrical tape around it to block out some of the LEDs and it dimmed out a bit, but ended up with a blueish-purple tint and I was concerned about the heat. Put the stockies back in and they cause more blooming on the backup camera. I'm still trying to find a dimmer LED option.
