Looking for a pics of unpainted TRD Pro grille installed

Looking for pics of the TRD pro grille installed with the surround left black/unfinished or painted black.
All colors are welcome but you have one like that in Cement, that would be super awesome.

Haha, I decided to stay stock based on the TSS recall and warranty concerns. The chrome limited grill has started to grow on me. If I could buy a new TRD Pro grill with factory cement surround for $500 or less and maintain warranty I would do that. It's not worth 1k+ and potential warranty issues to me.

 

Can’t imagine having warranty issues buying oem parts and putting them on the truck they’re made for. Definitely not criticizing you for being cautious, but if aftermarket parts can’t legally void a warranty, oem parts made specifically for your truck definitely shouldn’t.

 

Read the TSS recall thread. Toyota came out and said if you install grill parts that are different than those that came on the truck from the factory; i.e., a TRD Pro grill on a non-TRD Pro, then they won't do the TSS recall and will make you sign paperwork releasing liability for those safety systems. Some people have been successful getting their dealership to do the work anyway, but many have not. While I'm under warranty it's not worth the hassle for me.

 

Did I read correctly that the 19's dont have TSS?

 

19’ year model has TSS. The TSS system began with the 18’ model year of Tundras.

 

Thanks! I was just reading the same. Trying now to figure out what my grille options are I guess. I really don't want to mess with the sensor.

 

My truck doesn't have TSS so I'm not going to waste time reading it, but I stand corrected.
