Just curious if anyone else having this cosmetic issue with the drivers side sun visor? My Tundra just hit 11 months and 5,300 miles.
I’ve attached two photos showing front and backside of my sunshade, I don’t use air fresheners are any chemicals to clean the interior, only soft microfiber towels for dusting. I can live with it, dealership is giving my hard time about covering under warranty. I’m just curious what might be causing it.

Based on the portion that changed color I'm assuming you keep the shade pulled down a lot?

The visor is never pulled down, always up or at times I use a windshield sunshade, at which the visor is pulled down to keep the sun shield in place.

I'm stumped then, never seen that before. I thought maybe they were always left down and took a beating from the sun. Weird.

    Lost track after #1.
Looks like some sort of weird chemical reaction. Did something get on the sunshade and then transfer to the sticker I wonder? Or maybe a reaction between the sunshade material itself and the sticker?

I’m guessing when you put it down with the sunshade the sun or heat is still affecting it.

Looks like a chemical reaction. Could be air freshener, cologne - perfume, Smoke, Food. or maybe a cleaning solution that was used once.

    Flux capacitor!
Can you post some pictures of the sunshade your using? I’m wondering if your sunshade has a die or chemical on it that it’s causing this to happen to the OEM sun visor. I would put in your sunshade and put the visor down and look at your trucks windshield from the front view. If the faded line on your sun visor matches up with your sun shade then I think you found your answer.

Mine turned pink as well, it's just the heat and I use a sun shade everyday. I live in Palm Springs, CA and the heat is intense out here. No big deal.

Post pic from out front of the sunshade in the truck as you would normally place it.

I had the exact same discoloring on mine - it almost looked like it was cooked. I had been using a cheap sun shade and I chalked it up to this. My dealer did replace the visor under warranty without any issues (I had this done at about 1 1/2 years). I also replaced the sun shade I had been using to one that they were selling at the dealership.

I never put my shade up, it is down all the time. I also live in an area that has triple digit summers and I use a sun shield. I would think if something was going to cook it, it would have happened in my vehicle. Maybe its your sun shade. I've used the black fabric type that twists into a small circle for almost 4 years now. Cheapo Amazon style
