It's a Haggard old thing. 194k on it and the interior shows it, but it runs like a clock, is 100% rust free, and gets 23 mpg. So I'll run it till the wheels fall off

If you decide to get one be prepared to do the laundry list of common issues they have. I literally got every single one of them when I bought mine. It was bone stock and $800 though. So I can't complain that much

Just checked the owners manual "always use full synthetic 0-20, if 0-20 is unavailable you can use 5-20 as a substitute. But it must be exchanged for 0-20 at the next oil change."

It's a blast to drive! Just not as luxurious as it once was haha. Straight piped, no AC and ripped upholstery. But I still love it to death

@ARamirez73 isn’t the only one. Chainsaws give me wood for days too.

Nice truck Rusty. Welcome to the show!

These 5.7’s (and other Toyota engines) are like Timex analog watches. They’ll tick forever.

So even after reading all the "it's normal" on the tick thing, I poked around with a stethoscope and narrowed it down to where it is. Furthermost cylinder on the driver's side front, lower part of the valve cover. Can hear it clearly, only on that one cylinder though. Nothing on the other side or anywhere else. Hopefully it's just a common thing
