List of things to be done: Rims, and level kit - $1750 cash $1930 credit Powder coating - $200 bumper caps Window tint - $220 Subs and tweeters - $210 Paint grille color match - $450 Katzkin Leather seats - $1400 Total - $4230
So I finally got my 12” shallow mounts installed on the factory HU. It was quite a pain in the ass but it sounds fucking amazing!

Also I washed her today only to come home, and in an attempt to miss a pothole in my driveway, I ran right into a muddy rut and dirtied my baby all over again.

I've always liked the look of them and they have function for my Thule crossroads rack system. I ordered the new Thule 78" Pro bars that will allow me to use my bike racks and/or cargo box. This truck will be a primary road trip vehicle for the family trips. I'll post a picture this week when the pro bars arrive.

I had the Airaid tube on my 6.2 Sierra and loved the sound plus the ability to use stock air box. I actually noticed much better top end with it too. This is probably the only “intake” I would consider simply to be able to swap to a smooth tube to increase laminar flow. Curious if you noticed any improvement by adding the AFE setup?

I have 7” BDS as well. 37s, 20” fuel rims, 01mm offset. Still have stock front bumper like you - had to shim it about an inch & light trimming of the plastic (didn’t have to cut any metal on bumper). Still have to do BMC.

For your 38s, did you have to chop a lot of the bumper? It doesn’t look like it from your pics. I assume you shimmed it? If you didn’t have to chop a lot I may get 38s for my next set.

I've got the plastics pushed forward a couple inches plus I had to trim an inch or so. No shim. Definitely needed BMC and still need to hit the pinch welds a bit further up than i have gone so far. I thought i had it but went over some healthy ruts at full turn and it needs a little more

List of things to be done: Rims, and level kit - $1750 cash $1930 credit Powder coating - $200 bumper caps Window tint - $220 Subs and tweeters - $210 Paint grille color match - $450 Katzkin Leather seats - $1400 Total - $4230
Here’s some pics of my install for my amp and subs. Sorry I didn’t take picks throughout the process but here are some of the finished product. I installed the PAC SNI-35 under the passenger side door sill plate. Hooked it up to both rear speakers and ran 6’ RCAs to the amp.
I decided to install the fuse holder under the driver side door sill plate as well. All in all it’s a pretty clean setup. I’m happy with it and it sounds great.
