I've held one if that counts :)

I have average sized hands and I was able to get a good grip on it. Felt good in the hands. Nice size for a compact. Didn't have a chance to shoot it though, but have heard folks say it's got a kick to it (9mm short barrel so it's kinda expected). Not something you want to use at a range to go thru a box of ammo. Could be hearsay as I've never shot it. But I liked the feel of it and will rent it one day at the range to check it out to see if to switch to it for my EDC.

If you shoot it soon, let us know how it goes. Have you checked out Hickok 45 on YouTube for his reviews of it?

Nice little pistols. I sure see a lot for sale on some Glock Forums. The wife and I shot a rental at a local range. I personally like it better than her Sig P938, but due to capacity, the smallest pistol in the Glock world would be the G26 and next would be the G19 (which is my EDC).

I've got a 43 and 19. Both are great, but the 43 is perfect for concealment, especially in the summer. I wasn't so sure a small gun paired with 9mm would be so much fun to shoot, but I love it.

I want to shoot one sometime. LOVE my 19 also but like Trucky said, sometimes a hair too big for summer.

    I have 2 Glock 43's. Super ease for conceal carry. I also have a 26, 19, & 17. I mainly carry the 43 or the 26.

I either carry my 23 or my 43. The 43 is easy to just throw into a pocket although I will sometimes carry it IWB with a spare mag. I have the Taran Tactical +1 magazine floor plate, which is barely bigger than the factory flat floor plate that was on it (I traded the grip extension floor plate to buddy for his flat one). That gives me 8 rounds in the gun.
As far as shooting it, it definitely shoots nicer with non +P ammo. I carry it with Federal 147 grain HST.

I'm not a Glock fan (don't like the ergonomics) but shot a friends G42 and was quite surprised with how nice it felt. Trigger was good, recoil was nothing for such a subcompact frame, and was fairly accurate (not as good as my CZ RAMI but that might be due to time spent behind the wheel). I would imagine the 43 has very similar characteristics.

Before making a decision you should consider and maybe find a place to test out a RAMI BD.

OP didn't ask, but I love my 42. It doesn't like PMC brass ammo, I learned that the hard way. I'm glad even though you aren't a fan of Glocks, you liked the 42.

For how short the barrel is I shoot very well with it in comparison to my full size, I have been very impressed with the 42.

@Glock17 I mounted a Streamlight TLR-6 to my 42, the TLR-6 will also mount on a 43. In my opinion it is a great combo for concealed everyday carry. I love having a weapon mounted tac light at the ready.

Update: Well today I did an equipment check and noticed my laser was out of zero. Looked a bit closer and noticed to hairline cracks on the housing of the TLR-6. I did nothing for this to happen, awaiting a response from Streamlight on a warranty claim.

UPDATE: Streamlight squared me away. Hoping it was a fluke.

Glad you seen that. Hopefully it was just a manufacturing default and it doesn't happen again.

I hope. I also hope I can get it fixed ASAP, as my primary holster is custom for the TLR-6, it doesn't retain as it should without the TLR-6 attached.

I wish I could like streamlight as much as I like surefire but I had couple lemons in the past including a new tlr-1-hl. No issues with SF. Solid lights.

Good news is that I'll be at Bass Pro Shop in line before they open at 5 AM. Friday to score a nice Kimber semi.

Glocks may be on sale too. Now that my kids are all grown up....I don't have to go Toys R US anymore and I can score some decent toys for the g kids at BPS at the same time. Winning.

There were some good sales today on ammo at Bass Pro. I just finished loading up ~470 rounds

My wife has the 42 and i have a 43, both with the TLR 6 and they have held up great even with me practicing drawing from the holster. Thats pretty crazy how yours cracked like that. I make my wife go the the range once a week on ladies night.

I know I'm with you. I have the two X300 Ultra's (one rifle version, one pistol) with zero issues, they are indestructible.

It is weird, I take care of my stuff too. I have worn it daily for almost 6 months now. Not sure if it somehow got sandwiched between my bony hips and something else at some point? Nothing that I can remember that would make me think I should check my stuff for damage though.

Good looking pistol, hopefully they come through for you on the warranty claim.

My EDC is a G36, the wifes is a G26 (she keeps a Ruger LCP in her purse as well; except for when I throw it in my back pocket) Those little LCPs are tiny, don't even feel it in my pocket...I may have to pick another up for me.

Would like to get ahold of a 43 just as another option, though I can shorts carry my XDS 45 pretty easily.
