    As the thread title states.

Looking to get an idea of some things you guys see as necessities for the Tundra. Right now our current line up and a couple future products are geared towards the 3rd gen.

Ditch Light brackets, Bed racks etc?

Need your input and we will go from there. Depending on the interest we may see about getting some of those products out there.

One thing that a lot of us are looking for, but almost NO ONE makes (giving you a corner on the market) are....

    HIGH CLEARANCE REAR BUMPERS

Something that wraps around the sides and has a hitch integrated into it as well. I believe "SS Built" has something like this, but without the Wrap-Around on the sides.

Yup, something basic like this for 3rd gen would be great. Just need a decent price point.

Personally I'm shopping for; a rear bumper with integrated step, a low profile hidden winch front bumper that doesn't look like I'm posing for the Baja 500

We already have a streamline that should meet your needs. Not sure about the bumper with integrated step other than on the top plate. Even our tacoma bumpers are tight to the body and don't offer much for a step other than around the license plate area. We are more offroad geared stuff. I assume you are looking for a step integrated into the corner kinda like the chevy and ford SD trucks.

My question is how many of the late model truck owners would be willing to cut their bedsides since these trucks are so expensive.
    We were discussing this today
We make sliders for the 3rd gen crew max that can be used as steps just need to verify fitment on 2nd gens and 3rd gen access cab (sorry if I got the terminology wrong). Bed racks we were discussing today. Bumpers are a ways off right now.

A standard rear bumper has been kicked around with an integrated hitch behind the license plate like our Tacoma bumpers.
Not really our forte since we concentrate more on armor and offroad accessories like ditch light brackets. There is a company out of NC that may make them for the tundra already not 100% sure.

Keep the ideas coming guys we were having a discussion about different products for some of our new lines that we have started today. One of our biggest hold ups on some of these products is getting a vehicle which we can do some mock up and testing to verify fitment to bring some of these to market. We have made one full replacement 3rd gen front bumper but some changes need to be made since Eddy wasn't 100% satisfied with it.

^^^^^ This!! High clearance, tube, wrap around to the wheels, hitch relocated, couple of tabs to attach ditch lights, recovery mounts, bolt on or weld on I don’t care. Just need it in the next month or I’m going to build my own. Sick of waiting. And yes, everyone is willing to cut their bedsides.

Definitely not going to happen in the next month and we do plate bumpers for the rear not tube.
Yes if you want to order one of the products we currently you'll have to email your order in. We handle everything in house from website to manufacturing, well except coatings. So our website unfortunately needs some updating with a bunch of stuff it's a work in progress. Getting product out the door to customers tends to come before web design. I know that's not the best practice nor doesn't help much but the tundra is one of our newest additions and we haven't updated it yet for them.

How about a sharp looking and practical hitch mount spare tire carrier. One that I wont have to sell my left nut to buy.

Roof rack would be tough to hold more than 200 lbs as that really is a design of the factory and ability to take the dynamic loads going down the road. As far as the bed rack goes we are working on a more semi universal rack that can be used for multiple platforms. It's really meant for going over the softoppers but possibly could work for a tonneau as well.

Yeah I don't know much about the tundra roof or if there are any factory mounting holes. We haven't made a roof rack yet for any vehicle as there are just so many manufacturers out there the market seems a little flooded. It seems like there is a new prinsu esk rack for the tacomas around every corner. Not sure if that is something we would really get into. We can kick the idea around but not going to make any promises as that's not really our thing.

Definitely interested in seeing existing sliders, and waiting a good option for front n rear bumpers and a reasonably priced bed rack system. Would be nice to buy all things from one manufacturer so there’s only a Toyota emblem plus 1 rather we than a million different pieces from a million different companies.

We don't really tag our products with our emblem the pieces that do have our tag it's very subtle unless you want it everywhere like some have asked. Our bumpers and sliders have no tagging on them unless requested. The 3rd gen and 5th gen runner have our symbol on the oil filter access plate and that is it. If you want to advertise for us we include a sticker with the product and have some swag you can purchase. Here is our current line up for the 3rd gen there is a possibility that the sliders would work for a second gen just have to find someone local to confirm fitment.

The first gen crowd has been one of our most vocal for bumpers and other armor (which is our main wheel house (you see what I did there)) we are working on logistics of getting a truck in the shop for mock up testing and R&D. Keep your eyes peeled.

Yep BTW this is Eddy's 1st gen tundra when he had it and made the one and only bumper. But this is similat to what the front bumper will look like. May end up making some changes so it looks more like the Tacoma bumper next to it as far as the body goes. Oh and hoop designs for the Tacoma are different now and the tundra would be a little different. This is CIRCA 2012ish

Another vote for first gen bumpers (front and rear) and anything else first gen - armor, sliders, etc.

For bumpers, I am personally in favor of relatively modest profile, unobtrusive, and as light weight (and affordable) as possible that still have high-clearance, winch mounting option, tow points...light mounting holes or options. I would be in favor of at least an option without bull bars and headlight brush guards.

Also second vote for a roof rack for the cab that doesn't require drilling, if that's even possible.

Aside from things that have been mentioned, I seem to have a storage solution fetish, and some simple well-thought-out Access Cab shelving/drawers that don't cost as much as a used car would be nice. Or any unusual storage ideas. I've seen a lot of DIY ceiling consoles, for example, or beefed up center consoles. For me personally I'll probably make my own and refine what I already have made, but if a good and affordable option was out there I'd be interested.
