According to the website, 20" wheels on stock suspension Tundra. I like the look and am interested in getting the same size tires (but in 18"). Anyone with a sharp eye know what size? Thanks

Thanks Omohundro. That is a slightly larger size than stock and a size I am looking at as well. I don't want to do any trimming and don't want to remove any mudflaps.

I have stock suspension and I am currently running 305/50R20 in Michelin Defender LTX M/S, which is a street tire, with no rubbing, trimming or removal of mudguards.

I have some edge wear issues though and it may be because my rim is not wide enough for the tire (at least that is what Discount Tire said but I don't know that I agree with their logic). The tire is 12.4" wide (section width) and the listed tire specifications state that the ideal width rim is 9.5" wide (Mine are 20x9). The wear may also be from running too low air pressure (I was running 32). I am now running more air pressure to hopefully cure the problem.

I am going back with an all terrain tire on 18x9 wheels so that is why I am looking. The street tires are much smoother and better on the street and wet roads (and work fine for the little off roading I do where I live) but I miss the all terrain look.

The wheel offset is where you run into most of the rubbing issues. Looks like you have the TSS wheels, so you should be fine.

I am changing the wheels with the new tires though to 18x9 25mm offset. I wish I could find aftermarket wheels with the factory 60mm offset, but they do not exist.

    Don’t like the TSS wheels?

I am not in love with the TSS wheels as far as looks, but I don't hate them either. I prefer the gloss black Pro wheels (older version) to the TSS. Maybe it is a crazy idea that I have, but I want to go to 18" wheels for the extra cushion and off-road capability like the Pro model has. I don't go off road like I used to 30 years ago (been there and done that with several trucks back then); it is more of the idea of having the capability. I like 20" wheels too so it is more of going with a different flavor (and I may regret the decision to go to 18).

My wheels are in perfect condition so I will sell them when I get new tires for the new 18" wheels (already bought the wheels). I also want to roll on my current tires a few more thousand miles to get some use out of them before I sell them with the wheels.

I see you are from middle TN. I am from there too. I live in TX now.

Yes, Middle Tn. Little town called McMinnville.
As far as wheels goes, I’m a big fan of the pro wheels both old and new.

By the way, the wheels I bought look similar to the TSS wheels (made by the same company) so I guess my thinking is all over the place on wheel looks, etc. LOL. I bought the new wheels partly because they look similar to the TSS wheels (more like the newer TSS wheels without the silver trim) to keep a more stock look, because they had a decent offset and because I got them real cheap off ebay from a dealer. Here is a picture:

We used to have a cabin close to Center Hill Lake and Smithville when I was growing up, not far from you. Lot of good memories of that cabin. I grew up in a suburb of Nashville. Born and raised.

I want new wheels and new Pro wheels are too expensive IMO (not worth it). So I gave up on that idea. If I don't like the new wheels, I will wear out the new tires and go back to a 20" wheels like the ones on the white truck picture for the next set of tires. I only paid $611 (no tax or shipping) for the new wheels. Hell, I may do that anyway the way I roll. There are lots of Tundras here in TX (they are everywhere) and so it is easy to sell Tundra wheels, etc. here.
