    Anyway, I've been looking for a new truck and after test driving a Tundra, Ram, F-150, and Silverado all in one afternoon I decided on a new Tundra. Got a good deal on this 2016 SR5.

    I was visiting my father, and one afternoon we decided to just go check out trucks. The place he lives is nice because all the dealerships are on either side of the highway within 3-4 miles of each other, so we did all the test drives in one afternoon and got to really compare them to each other. We drove the Tundra, F-150, Ram 1500, and Silverado 1500. It was raining so we got a good chance to test drive them all in real world conditions. Going in I expected I would like the #1 best selling truck with the turbo v6, but actually both my father and I thought it was the worst out of the bunch. They also had the pushiest sales person which didn't help at all. We both decided it was a bit of a toss up between the Tundra and Silverado, though we thought the Tundra was more comfortable. I've been driving a Toyota Highlander for the last 7 years, and my wife drives a Prius V. We are pretty familiar with Toyota as a brand and have never had any major issues, and the couple of little issues I had on mine were fixed even though my warranty had expired like two weeks before I went in. So in the end the Toyota won out. Then I found this 2016 that fit what I wanted, and then negotiated a good deal that made my pocketbook happy.
