    Oh snap! I'm in RGV!
    Arrived at the La Quinta Inn near the convention center yesterday. Signed for the place yesterday afternoon. Went to China Sea Buffet last night. Pretty good. It's better than any Chinese buffet around north Ft Worth.
    You can't look in any direction without seeing Border Patrol, Customs & Border Protection, or the military.
    Movers showed up this morning at our new place. They unloaded in three hours. Now we're just sorting and arranging.
    Taking a bit of a break per the picture below.

    Best Chinese I think is great is actually the Chinese Kitchen at HEB on ware. So delicious!

    Mcallen I believe you said you moved too Taylor right? on other side of expressway. Ware rd is next main road where Mcallen Convention Center is at ...you pass all of that going north and that HEB is on the corner of Ware & Pecan. I only go their for the Chinese food haha and shop at my local HEB plus. Convention center also has some good places to eat..Cheddars , PF Changs, Saltgrass, omg you need to go to Bubbas! Great pizza & wings and iiiicceee cold beers!

    Excellent! I see it on Google maps. Thanks for the info. We'll be going to that HEB later tonight or tomorrow to restock everything.
    We saw all those places near the convention center. There's a billiards place near China Sea that we are wondering about.

    Oh easy 8’s? Stopped going there the smoke is killer. You get out of there smelling like shit! Good place is Eddys Tavern on Nolana! No smoke and good environment

    Shiner is good, also love the especially when they come out with the seasonal ones. The strawberry & ruby red! Oh so yummy. Never tried the 2nd one need to check my local heb plus for that one

    Morning RGV. Heading out in a few. Gotta stop at a Spectrum store for the modem and then WorstBuy for some wifi stuff. Place isn't wired with LAN so I have to go wifi.
    Not a complete fan of getting the Google WiFi "mesh network" stuff. But I already use an Android phone and Chrome, so they see everything that I do online anyway.
    Went to the HEB on 83 and N Shary. Not happy that it looks like they don't even make the most awesome bread (Asiago cheese loaf)that is made in other HEB stores in north Texas. I'll check other HEB stores around here.

    Seen my first Hilux today at Walmart. It was gray in color. It kinda looks like a new generation Honda Ridgeline. Far superior though.
