    Hello Everyone! I’ve been reading a lot of good info here in the forum for a while now so I decided to finally create a profile! Thanks for keeping this up and running, basically all answers to questions one can have about the Tundra ownership can be found here for sure! Best resource on the internet for Tundras hands down.

    I am the proud owner of a CPO 2016 CM barcelona red platinum. I got it with 40k mi on the clock and in a really good shape in and out totally stock with the exception of LED bulbs all around, got an amazing deal with the extended warranty just in case (probably a waste of money given the tundra reliability reputation :D ) I really did it because everything is electric and automatic in this thing! I’m always cautious with the automatic gadgets in cars.

    I traded in my 2016 quicksand sr5 tacoma about 6 months ago with 50k mi., and that one was bought new after I traded in A 2nd gen CPO 2012 black sr5 taco. So this is my 3rd toyota truck.

    At the time I needed the truck for field work with lots of stop and go driving so the taco excels in that regard but being 6’1” with longer legs, the back seat behind me was always unusable.

    Now with a baby on the way, the Tundra will be an excelent family hauler and the new job is mostly highway miles about 50 miles a day, which I was skeptical at first with the big 5.7 V8 but I’m constantly doing 450-500mi per tank with 29-30gal of gas just before hotting the reserve, so very comparable to the taco in MPG! I love it so far. I’ve done over 20mpg for a whole stretch of about 25 miles with cruise control set at 70mph many times, so highway miles are not bad on the Tundra.

    1. Get a ReadyLift 2.4” front and 1” block in the rear.
    2. Get 275/65r20 A/T 10 ply tires for peace of mind.
    3. Get +2018 honeycomb grill and +2018 dual DRL led headlamps.

    With that I’ll settle for a while (or so they say :D)
