    So The Woman is preparing to go back to school for a Business Administration certificate. Basically secretary on steroids, think Donna on the show Suits. Anywho, we're looking at a practice placement exam she may need to take to prove her math ability. The first question is on factoring polynomials. What. The. Hell. We're both completely lost.

    We both took the "dumb" math stream in high school, 10 years ago. Basically, the more practical every day math. Algebra, calculus etc were of no use or interest to either of us back then. I've done trades math as a welder, so my math ability includes volume, area, geometry etc. No real algebra.

    We both feel completely retarded. LOL

    1. What is the point? It's business admin. She's not gonna be building rockets
    2. Is there actually any practical real world application to this stuff outside of advanced STEM programs?
    3. I hate math. LOL. Always have. Gimme some Shakespeare to read instead of math of any sort

    Okay if the last 24 hours haven't been active enough, I get home tonight and the bump on Chloes nose has burst and all kinds of crap is coming out...my poor girl! I'm so pissed at that vet for telling me that this was a solid mass and needed surgery! WTF? All it needed was to be drained and some antibiotics. If it wasnt after hours I would drive up there and chee her ass! UGH! I miss my vet! :mad::(:mad::(
