A newbie to the site, but have been loving on Toyota for quite some time. The wife calls it an addiction; I call it.....ok, it's an addiction. :( We are on our 4th 4Runner, and my 2nd T-100. It's not my fault Toyota keeps improving the design, d@mmit! So I don't have a Tundra (yet), but most of you true enthusiast know that the "T" is the predecessor to the Trunda. While I'm convinced I will eventually have a Tundra, I'm going to try driving this T100 until the wheels fall off or the engine just completely dies (and yes, that IS what I told my wife for the 1st three 4Runners and the 1st T-100).

All jokes aside, I love my Toyotas and am I a huge fan of little DIY mods. If I were mechanically inclined, I'm sure I'd spend quite a bit more time in the garage, but I am more about functionality of my little rigs, than about show. I do keep them clean, but I believe these trucks/SUVs were built to be used, driven, on AND off road. While I don't ever get out for mudding, I do get out. Hunting, fishing on one of my kayaks, mountain bike fun, and camping.

I am working on updating my T-100 a bit, since it's my DD. I don't need it to look like a 2017 Tundra, but some creature comforts of the newer rides make for a nicer commute to the office, which just happens to be an hour each way.

Looking forward to meeting some of the forum members, and hopefully picking up some useful mod ideas. And now, back to the garage...CHEERS!:burnrubber:

This was earlier this year. I tried out the toolbox that I had on my first t-100. Then decided to ditch it- I wasn't liking the bulk any longer, so will eventually tack on a low-pro box, but not on the priority list. I've been riding with my Yakima roof rack, and will throw on the Thule X-Sportster when I'm carrying the kayaks.

Added those rims from a '14 Tacoma, and wrapped them in some BFG's.

Recently updated the interior with some carbon fiber wrap over the center dash and door panel accessories, but not liking the wrap too much. I also modded a center console from a 2015 4Runner, as the factory T100 is pretty small, and was not much of an armrest, which I needed for my long drive to/from work. I intergrated a dual socket/USB connector and am brainstorming on other items to add. I've got an empty pocket where the original shifter goes, and am thinking about fabricating a pistol holster that would sit perfectly on there. (Firm supporter of the 2nd!).

Any ideas, suggestions, thoughts on what else to add??

    Thanks, @zcarpenter92!

@aramirez73, loving the T, sir! It's always good seeing more of these out there. Still running Rough Country lift? If so, any issues or complaints? I'm in the market for a lift at the moment, and wanted to stay under 6".

    Thanks for the welcome, Warren!

I actually gifted my first one with 260k miles to my father in law whe he needed a truck. I had 2 4Runners sitting in my driveway at that time, so felt compelled to hand the keys over. Fortunately, he still has "Big Red", so it's never too far away- ha! Six months after I gave it away, the withdrawals started, so HAD TO HUNT FOR ANOTHER! It took a good 4-6 months to find this white bueaty, and I've been cleaning it up since. It reeked of smoke, and was pretty dull inside and out, so it's a work in progress, but a journey I'm enjoying.

Sorry for the confusion, @thumper7799 - originally from SA, but haven't lived there since '99. I guess I can officially be called a Houstonian, at this point. Hahaha.

@oriojasjr. Gotcha. I just moved back to San Antonio from Houston. I was living in Tomball for a couple of years. I have to say I'm glad to be back in SA. Houston was to much for me....ex-boyfriend and all :crapstorm:

Erika, hoping things work out in SA for you!

James, many thanks, sir! Colorado is where I hope to ultimately move my family- gorgeous state---Especially for the outdoorsmen!
Definitely been doing some cleaning up on this T, and loving the sweat equity! And likewise, I like the MGM Tundra- it's the same color as my 4Runner: see below.

Thanks, @DallasDigital! As mentioned above, nice MGM!
