So, as a little girl, my grandparents to me all over the place to see and experience all sorts of things. I learned to camp, glamp, hike, backpack, enjoy nature and appreciate what she gives us, along other things as we traveled and I grew up.

Now I have my own kids and want to share experiences like I had with them!

I am creating a bucket list of places to take my girls so I can share my knowledge and have them experience things I did. I'm hoping they fall in love with all the things I listed above like I did.

    Places I have so far:

    -Grand Canyon
    -20 Lakes Basin
    -Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park
    -Big Bend National Park
    -Rainbow Bridge
    -Four Corners
    -Redwood National Park
    -Yosemite National Park
    -Yellowstone National Park
    -Monument Valley
    -Mammoth Cave
    -Antelope Canyon
    -Oneonta Gorge
    -Zion National Park
    -Carlsbad Caverns
    -Horseshoe Bend
    -Bryce Canyon
    -Glacier National Park

If you know of a great place to go PLEASE let me know!

I can kind of see the attraction of wanting to go to the four corners - but it is really not impressive once you get there.

Anyway, that is a great list. I would add Silverton/Ouray Colorado to that list. I love that area.

Maybe not "Bucket List", but fun parks.

Palo Duro Canyon State Park in TX panhandle could be a quicker trip for sure. Very hot in summer months.

Also Garner State Park on the Frio River is fun for kids and teens. Nightly dance all the kids like.

    - Banff National Park (Alberta)

    - Royal Tyrell Museum (dinosaurs!! Alberta)
    - Whistler (British Columbia)

    - Dawson City (Yukon Territory)
    - Inuvik, or even Tuktoyaktuk (Yukon Territory)
    - Bay of Fundy, (the highest tides in the world, New Brunswick)

It's not on the list because we've already been there:smack:
I know I've been to four corners before I just want a picture of them in all four states at the same time the only reason why it's on the list. I will add Silverton and ouray Colorado to the list also thanks!
That might have to be a little later on because my youngest is 6 years old and I don't think that she would really enjoy it that much until she was older
    I will add those two
Definitely not! But we have to have a passport to get to those places but it doesn't hurt to add it and we can do it once they get their passports! I've seen many gorgeous places in pictures of Canada and definitely want to go there to see them
I might curl up into a ball if I go to the New York City honestly. I don't like large crowds I don't like dealing with them they make me very uneasy and I only deal with them if I have to. I think that to the military. But maybe one day I would like to go to where the twin towers were and show my kids that and make sure that they know our recent history and all that.

I know there's an RV park and museum there, but not sure about just driving over the land to another part of the rim to just set up an open camp.

"according to Dave Doyle of the National Geodetic Survey, the monument marking the intersection of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah is about 1,807 feet east of where it should have been placed in 1875. Doyle says the monument's location has been legally adopted by all the states as the official corner."
