Gotta use the clam pot....but I use the burner from the turkey fryer. Drinking the clam both is a must as well, hence the tapEF6B4F22-2A96-4DB2-B49C-866A5EB58741.jpg

Here it's city or county specific. West of the Blue Ridge, rifles are ok. Where I live, you have to be 15 feet off the ground to use a rifle. Eastern Shore, no rifles but slugs are ok. I get some of it but a good slug gun with a scope is spot on from 100 yards.

Odd thing is, we can’t use rifle for deer due to population density, but we can use them for bear.

We'll probably see a moose season in the next 10 years, population is on the rise here. I've encountered a few the past few seasons. Had a cow and 2 calves in my park about a month ago. My park is closed to hunting though.

Well Andy, you have a very kool job. My 4 year old grandson is going thru a Jr Ranger program here. Life can bring twists and turns that can make things tough for your family at times. I'm thinking you'll come out alright. Keep the faith!

I've had the chance to move around, my current park is the 7th I've worked at. I 've worked a few that are open to hunting and have my go-to's. I'll be hitting the fields for Phesant, then changing over to white tails. I'll take a bear if the right opportunity arises.

So...a tree stand I'm thinking? Makes sense. Maybe a stand near a deer trail next to a corn or grain field?

Now that's good thinking:thumbsup: mine needs it badly. But I'm using it daily for working on the house so it's got another week or two before a full inside and outside detail.
