Welcome. It would be a smarter move. I know the 35's will clear cause I ran 35's on my sr5 with stock suspension while I was waiting for all my mid travel suspension to come in. And it didnt rub offroad. CMC right wheel offset and trimming on the front plastics

Keep the pro and ditch the suspension for some Kings or some other suspension you want. You will be happier. That’s what I did with my pro and now it’s sitting on 37s. Then sell the pro suspension to recoup some of the money spent on the new suspension. Post it on the forum and there are plenty of people that would buy it off of you.

I think what you pulled covers dealer trade ins only. You can't get a sales tax rebate on private party sales in Texas. Dealers lobby is too strong to get that changed here.

Don't have to in Texas I just told you. Arkansas has a provision for private sale tax rebate and I know one of the mid Atlantic states does. I think the ones that do are a minority.

You know you can get the ready lift 4" lift for the TRD pro Specifically so you don't mess with the suspension. I ran 12.50 X33 on my TRD pro with the 4" liftIMG_20190722_213632_902.jpg

Been following this thread for a bit to see how it shook out. Glad to see you kept the Pro and will work with it. An earlier poster put it best - You have a Pro no matter what but an SR5 is still an SR5 at trade in, even with lift/wheels. The dealership will bullseye on that fast.

Isn’t $48k pretty close to the price of a new one? Not saying to trade it for the SR5 with crappy dealer lift, but that seems pretty good.

Glad to see you said "no". Now stop thinking about that other truck and enjoy your beautiful Pro! Dealers love people doing what you were about to do ;). You just spent probably $52k + tax on that Pro, probably traded in something else which they made a killing on, then were going to basically give them $2k (they'd sell your Pro for $50k) and then give them a stupid amount, no doubt, for that "dealer lifted" cement marked up to outer space.

The bmc isn’t a big deal. It’s a small piece. Keep your truck man. I think you would look back a regret on the money you flushed away.

It is nowadays, maybe not when OP bought it. 47-48 before tax if not heavily accessorized
