I dunno if y'all heavy DC owners can tell, but in the lighter AC, it's noticeable lol

Still waiting on new tires...... Ordered early July and they are backordered until "early August". The shitty thing is I just saw that Nitto is releasing the Ridge Grappler in 295/75/16 Aug. 1st

AT3's? I am tempted to cancel my order and go with the Ridge Grapplers in the same size....

I dislike my KO2's for what it's worth. I had horrible wet traction this last winter and will not be keeping them through another. I would slip constantly and spin my tires even with light throttle. Never had this issue with any other tire I've owned (Duratrac, Terra Grappler, Wildpeaks). Another local Taco owner also sold his nearly new tires for the same reason. I'll be going to Wildpeak AT3W or Cooper ST Maxx before the rain comes again.

That is interesting. I live in Salt Lake City and we get a ton of snow (very very dry snow) and the KO's (haven't owned the KO2's yet) did an amazing job of hooking up in snow. We don't get enough rain for me to quantify the performance.

They are great otherwise and wear well, but I would have issues fishtailing getting onto the freeway with a turning on ramp. I would feather the throttle too, so definitely didn't gun it or anything. Also we have a sketchy winding highway (Highway 17) and I had the back end come loose multiple times on curves (same as my friend and he had a full rear bumper w/ spare and shell). I just lost my confidence in them and won't risk it with my kids. I never had an issue with my old Wildpeaks, so probably just get them again.

I'm not sure what to make of this. K02's are probably the most popular all terrain on the market. I've read a few other reports like yours but for every one of of those there are 10 people saying they are fine in the rain. I've not had any issues in the rain yet. I guess I'll find out if that changes.

That's why I said for what it's worth. Obviously millions of people run the tire and no issues, but I've just lost confidence and that's enough for me to fork over a few hundred to have peace of mind. Plus I miss my old 285/75/17's so that's some motivation as well. :D

35s definitly hurt. On stock size i can burn both when its dry. On 35s i can barely get them spinning when its wet unless I go sideways

[IMG] New bumper is on (no plastic trim yet). Slowly coming together. Still trying to get the seller of the rear bumper to send the right god damn brackets

I have kos on my 2wd and ko2 on my tundra. My 2wd truck is locked and scary in the rain anyway but I'd say the ko2 might be a little looser in the rain than the kos with all things considered. The ko2 kick ass in the snow. I was surprised where I could go out in the snow packed desert honestly.

I like it up high. Has a nice vantage point. Good for daily driving and while on the trail. I’ll snap some pics of how it looks and how I’ve mounted it

Do you already have a 4-pin connector on your truck?

The reason I ask is that the aftermarket 7-pin connector gets the tail and brake lights from the 4-pin. Then you just need to run two hot lines from the front: one from the brake controller for brakes, and one from the battery for constant 12v. (I just installed a 7-pin on my '00)

Yea I’ve got the 4 pin. Only reason I want to get it setup with a factory one (I may just run the wires myself) is because I have a plug and play Toyota specific brake controller
