FYI - When changing wipers don't let the empty arm slam down and crack your windshield...

Learned that lesson on Tacoma. I had one good rock chip already. About a month later some idiot in a 18 wheeler went across apex sending a big rock in to my windshield. Dud not have to live with mistake long.

This just happened to me. I had the wipers up washing the truck and some how the blade broke off and the arm hit my window.. That was a couple days ago. This morning it was cracked.

No, it's 3 small spider web type spots. I have safelite coming tomorrow. I've had good luck with them in the past. It's the passenger side, directly where the wiper is. Maybe 2" up from the bottom. It's a good location if there was one for this sort of thing.

If yours has the heated lower portion of the windshield, ensure they don’t forget to plug it in.

Can’t be fixed. I’m going to ride it out and see what happens. I’m guessing some hot sun will make it crack tho. Is what it is.

After learning my lesson I lay a moving blanket down at the bottom of the windshield. I need to change mine if I can just figure out how to install with the adapters provided with the Michelin blades I bought back in October. I am sure none of the installation videos feature Tundras.

Don't know nuttin' about this. I'm STILL on the factory wiper blades. Two years and 8 months. Just came through an insane driving rain storm yesterday in northern Alabama. Just like they were new. I cannot explain it.
