    @FirstGenVol
    I know, its hideous, but truck had frame replaced in 2012 which was key to designing parts, so I bought the truck.
    The axle breather was rusted shut, and there was pressure inside axle when I dumped the fluid, sprayed gear oil out :angrygirl:, but now it has Valvoline Syn 75w-140 (our 05 Sequoia manual calls for 75w-140).

    Are you able to remove the breather to do the breather mod? Or is it rusted in place?

    I removed it and soaked it in rust dissolver. Does anyone offer an breather kit?

    Make your own is best. Buy some 3/8” gas line from auto store. Buy a new Toyota rear breather and union and connect the two with the gas line with stainless clamps. I ran mine up to behind the gas filler door. Some put theirs inside the rear brake light cavity. About $40 total cost.

    That kit @Darkness put up is only 1/4 line and without Toy OEM breather for $25. When all is said and done what I posted above is about the same cost but bigger line/orifices and includes the breather.

    Mz Hand says to give it a go without the side boxes. They can always be easily added on later now that all the hard bed liner work is accomplished.

    Truck feels lighter without them, too. They weight about 45lbs each.

    Today is interior detail day. I’m going to really scrub the carpets up front and try to bring them back to restoration finish levels.

    I also will be repainting my side ‘doink’ in attempts to make the finish look better as I hurriedly did the repair the first time through months back. Going with a new strategy patiently.

    Well I think I’m going to swap all the interior lights to white. As much as I like the green, the white would look cleaner I think. Swap the led on the window switch. And attempt to swap the led on the steering wheel lights

    Finaly ditched the big ass ugly lip of a bumper.

    I faced my fears and bent some pipe up for the first time.

    Not entirely done, planning on doing a big skid plate running down the front like a prerunner stlye.

    Any sugestions on lighting? Should I add pods? Or is that overkill?
