Holy geez!!! This is the most absurd deal I’ve ever seen. So they get $75 off, and then if there’s 100 orders, they get an additional $200 off?!

AND they have until 9/30 to get in on this?!:eek:

I'm so lucky to have called a couple days ago and was informed about the upcoming group buy. Put my deposit down for a 8" and I'm #2 in line. Saved $175 right off the bat and no telling how much will come off of that. Get your orders in guys so we can save more money!!

I purchased the 8'' stainless from the May group buy. Still makes me smile when I start the truck.

I was in the running for the least mechanically inclined person on this forum, but then I installed this system myself. Now I consider myself a wrench monkey...

That is correct and don't forget about the free shipping. Shipping was going to be $100 for me plus the $75 off I automatically saved $175 and no telling what else depending upon how many people order.

This one is going to get crazy... it wouldn’t surprise me if he doesn’t get over 100 orders.

I'm on the fence about exhaust in general. Right now I hear more motor noise than exhaust. I'd like to reverse that but I also don't want obnoxious exhaust. Maybe the 10"?

That's my concern, but I also need to dump & turn down ahead of the axle or run a single tail-pipe out the side ahead of the wheel. I would prefer a single tail-pipe sweeping to the side.

I test drove a truck this past weekend with the TRD exhaust and LOVED it but wanted a little more, after taking to Keith he assured me th 8" would be exactly what I want. This video shows a comparison and he even agrees that with his TRD he wanted a little more and likes the BA 8".

I've had both systems - the 8 inch on my 2016 which I traded in, and the TRD on my current 2018. The nice thing about the 8 inch (as long as the resonator is installed) is that the pedal is like an on/off switch. Press down and it sounds really good - definitely more aggressive than TRD. But lift off or light throttle, and it is pretty quiet.

The TRD sounded great at moderate to WOT, but I don't like the choppiness at low speeds and highway so I'm in the process of adding H pipes and Keith's resonators to tone down the TRD in those low rpm ranges.

The other thing I noticed is that you feel the TRD exhaust more, whereas you just hear Keith's systems - they're aggressive but smoother at the same time.

I like the idea of factory exhaust. However, there's a ton of feedback on the trd duals having a ton of drone. I've read on this forum of users returning it to Toyota in exchange for the standard exhaust

I'm going to install myself first without the resonator and see what she's all about then decide if I want to add it or not.

That's the beauty of the BA system is it comes with a resonator to eliminate drone. I'll be installing mine without and see if I want to add it or not.
